MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT THERAPIST/CASE MANAGER – POSITION #PC-310-2 – Provide mental
health outpatient therapy to children and adults with mental illness in Patrick County, VA. Applicant must
have a master’s degree in counseling (60 credit hours) and two years of experience. LMHP- Supervisee
candidates will be considered. Successful candidate will also be included in emergency services rotation.
In addition, position will require a case management caseload of 10 clients. As a case manager, applicant
will assist individuals with accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational and other supports
essential for healthy functioning. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it

CRISIS STABILIZATION COUNSELOR – POSITION #CL-100-5 – Serve as a multi-disciplinary team
member to provide stabilization services to individuals with serious mental illness or co-occurring mental
health and substance use disorders who are at risk for admission/re-admission to a psychiatric hospital or
unit. Duties include assessment, treatment planning, individual/group counseling, service coordination, and
clinical documentation. Minimum of a Master’s Degree in human services is required plus 2 years direct
experience providing behavioral health interventions. Applicant who is licensed or license eligible (LCSW,

EARLY INTERVENTION CASE MANAGER – POSITION #YE-620-4 – Provide assessment, linkage, and
advocacy services to infants & toddlers under the age of 3 & their families in Martinsville, Franklin, Henry, &
Patrick Counties. Acts as primary facilitator in the coordination & integration of early intervention services.
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, human services related field, or any
discipline or profession listed under Part C Personnel Standards; or a Registered Nurse with a valid license
to practice in Virginia; or any equivalent combination of education, training, & experience, which provides
the required knowledge, skills, & abilities. Prefer that Early Intervention Professional Practitioner Level be
met for a discipline or profession as defined in Chapter 12 of the Infant Toddler Connection of Virginia’s

PREVENTION SPECIALIST – POSITION #YE-610-4 –Franklin County area. This position requires some
skills in counseling and training, and knowledge about the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
Position is responsible for planning and implementing substance abuse prevention: educational programs
targeting elementary, middle, and high school populations; activities and presentations designed to develop
youth leadership and life skills; and education programs for adults and the community regarding substance
abuse issues. Qualified applicant must be comfortable working independently as well as with a team,

DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES: Crossroads Community Services Board (CCSB) is seeking a highly-qualified
professional to serve as its Clinical Services Director. CCSB provides mental health and substance abuse services
in clinics located in Amelia, Charlotte, Lunenburg & Prince Edward Counties. The incumbent develops, manages,
monitors and evaluates the operation of the clinics including emergency services. He/she plans and implements
services provided in the clinics based on assessment of community needs, consumer needs, and local/state/federal
requirements. The incumbent provides overall supervision and direction to clinic staff and direct supervision to
program/clinic supervisors as well as shared supervision of the medical director/psychiatrist(s). He/she provides a full
range of treatment services to clients with psychiatric, emotional, substance abuse and/or social problems. He/she
coordinates the services delivery with other program coordinators/directors/managers to ensure a comprehensive
level of services to meet the community needs. QUALIFICATIONS: The incumbent must possess the knowledge,
skills and abilities to fulfill the job requirements. A graduate level degree in a human services field and licensing by
the Health Regulatory Board (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical
Psychologist) is required to provide staff supervision as well as for reimbursement provisions of third party payers.
Considerable experience in working directly with consumers in the mental health/substance abuse field is required.
He/she should have experience in dealing with the public and must have supervisory/management experience.
Incumbent must have extensive experience in mental health/substance abuse programming and experience in crisis
intervention. The position requires travel locally as well as travel to local/state/national workshops and conventions.
The work schedule depends upon agency and consumer needs and may require extended hours beyond that of a
