EVENT DESCRIPTION: “Art on the Hill & Wine Tasting 2015”,
hosted by the Downtown Mantua Revitalization Corporation (DMRC)
is a day-long festival of the arts. Attractions include: artists and
craftsmen, local food vendors, demonstrations, children’s activities,
musical and dance entertainment. DMRC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3)
organization whose mission is to develop and implement a consensus-based
plan to enhance the appearance of downtown Mantua. To date, the organization
has provided numberous improvements to the Village of Mantua!

LOCATION: Prospect Street in the village of Mantua. Mantua is located 4 miles south of
the intersection of state routes 422 & 44 and 4 miles north of Ohio Turnpike exit 193.
DATE & TIMES: Saturday, July11, 2015 - Event begins at 10 am & closes at 6 pm. Set up 79:15 am. Set up times will be assigned by booth number. Please arrive promptly at your
designated time. When unloading your vehicle, pull up far enough to allow others to pass.
Quickly unload and move your vehicle to a parking area. Do not begin setting up your booth
until your vehicle is moved. All vehicles must be out of the event area by 9:15 am. No tear
downs permitted before 6 pm.
! MERCHANT CIRCLE: A “Merchant’s Circle” has been added to the festival this year and is

NE open to any local business, home-based or storefront. Independent representative based
businesses are also welcome! This is a great opportunity to sell and promote your products
and services to festival attendees.
ADVERTISING: The event is well advertised to ensure a large attendance. Advertisements
are placed in dozens of local newspapers, event brochures and programs, as well as on websites,
facebook, and other social media outlets.Past artisans also promote the event with provided
flyers at events they attend prior to ours. Please let us know if you would like to receive
these flyers to display in your booth at previous events. We will gladly mail them to you!
BOOTH INFORMATION: “Art on the Hill & Wine Tasting 2015” is an outdoor venue. There
are 90+ 10’ x 10’ booth spaces which will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Artists/
food vendors must supply their own canopy (if desired), display equipment, tables, chairs, etc. For
safety, artists need to bring appropriate weights to secure their booths. Spikes and staking are not
allowed, nor is tying off to any street fixture, permanent or temporary.
BOOTH FEE: $55 and is due with this application. If your setup area requires space exceeding
10’ wide, ‘double booths are available for $105. Sorry, we cannot refund booth fees for any
reason. The deadline for booths requiring electric is June 20, 2015.
INCLUSION IN EVENT PROGRAM: All artisans and food vendors will be included in the “Art
on the Hill & Wine Tasting 2015” event program which is available as a additional advertising prior
to and at the festival. Application must be received by June 20, 2014 to be included in the program.
ART/PRIZE DONATION: Since “Art on the Hill & Wine Tasting 2015” is a fundraiser, each
artist is asked to donate an item to the Chinese Auction held on the day of the event. Artists may
place business cards near their donation for additional advertising of their wares.

hold and save the DMRC and volunteers harmless of any damage, injury or loss by reason thereof. DMRC
has the right to use my name or any photographs/videos of me for promotional purposes. Terms and conditions
presented in this application are subject to change, based upon the needs of “Art on the Hill & Wine Tasting
2015”. Applicants will be kept informed in a timely manner of any and all changes.
