NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention All Students: Attention all students interested in “Stage Crew” for the spring musical, “Fiddler
on the Roof”, please meet in the Green Room with Ms. King tomorrow, Wed., Jan. 21st, for a brief meeting
at 2:10 p.m.
Congratulations to Wyatt Mauti for his successful participation in the PA state choral festival at Bethel
Park. Wyatt was selected for this state-wide honor after auditioning against hundreds of candidates. Wyatt
also auditioned and was selected to attend the next level, Region I All-State Chorus, which will be held at
Trinity High School on February 25-27. Way to go, Wyatt!
Attention Cast and Crew of Fiddler on the Roof: T-shirt order forms with payment have been extended
to Thursday, January 22nd after school in the choral room.
Attention Ms. Marshall’s Per. 1 College & Career Class: Please stop by this week in Room AA202 to
pick up your portfolios.
Attention All Students: Report cards will be issued next Mon., Jan. 26th. In order to receive your report
card, all student obligations must be paid. This includes cafeteria account, library and teacher obligations,
etc. Please see the Main Office Administrative Assistants if you are unsure of your obligations.
OLD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention Cast of Fiddler on the Roof: The entire cast rehearsal has been rescheduled for Thur., Jan.
22nd after school. Please pick up a new rehearsal schedule from Mrs. Elek.
Attention Photography Club Members: Your meeting for January 12th has been changed to Mon., Jan.
26th from 2:20 to 3:00 PM. Be sure to attend Monday in the Band Room to meet a professional
photographer and learn a little about the profession. Be sure to bring a copy of your favorite photograph or a
clipping of a picture you like from a magazine, as it will be part of the presentation. Hope to see you there!
Attention All Seniors: Any senior who has applied to Ohio State may want to stop in the guidance office
for a scholarship application for the Three Rivers Buckeye Scholarship. The application deadline is
February 6th.
Attention all students: Show Choir auditions for the 2015-2016 school year will be held over the next two
weeks. Anyone who is interested in being in show choir should see Mrs. Elek for audition information and
to sign up for the vocal part of the audition. Dance auditions will be held on Wednesday, January 21 at 3:30
pm and vocal auditions are by appointment.
Attention All Students: We need students to join the cast of the Fiddler on the Roof! We especially need
boys to play the Russian soldiers in the production. Please see Mrs. Elek for the information packet and
plan to attend the next rehearsal on Thursday after school, January 22nd.
Attention All Students: There are currently three South Fayette scholarships available: The Dr. Mary
Ravita Scholarship, the Beatrice Minkler Scholarship, and the Pink Out Scholarship. All three scholarships
have a February deadline. Please stop in the guidance office if you are interested in applying for any or all
of these scholarships.
Attention All Sophomores and Juniors: Applications for the PA School for Global Entrepreneurship and
the Univ. of Pittsburgh Health Careers Scholars Academy are due Feb. 16th. These programs are open to
current high school sophomores and juniors. Please contact Mrs. Quirk for more information.

Attention All Students: Students that are interested in participating in the Duquesne Model UNV
conference on Fri., Jan. 30th should see Mrs. Quirk.
Attention All Students: If you are interested in signing up for the Mini-THON in April, please go to Mr.
Flannery’s room to get your signup forms. All money raised from the event will go to support the Four
Diamonds Fund to fight childhood cancer. Last year we had thirty teams and over 250 students participate
and raised over $21,000, and we hope to see you at this year’s event! A reminder to all team captains that
you should be getting your team members signed up on Donor Drive as soon as possible.
