Terms and Conditions
1.The beneficiary shall comply with the telecommunications Regulatory Law issued by the Royal Decree
No.30/2002 and amendments thereto, and the Law of Electronic Transactions issued by the Royal
Decree No. 69/2008 and the Licences granted to Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel)
by the Royal Decree No. 20/2004

2. Unsolicited email, all having substantively identical content, often of a commercial nature and sent
indiscriminately to larger collection of recipients without granted verifiable permission of the recipients.
Omantel defines “Bulk emailing” as “the sending of e-mail(s) in a bulk fashion regardless of whether or
not the recipient of such email(s) have requested the correspondence.”
Sending either spam or bulk messages through the Omantel system is not permitted and will not be
tolerated. Omantel reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or even terminate service at any time, and
without preceding warnings, to anyone who violates or intends to violate this policy. Omantel will not
be held responsible whatsoever if your domain name is blocked by internet service providers(ISPs)
for sending spam/bulk message.
Omantel also reserves the right to limit the number of outgoing recipients of an individual message to
one hundred (100).

3. The customer should not be entitled to trade on resell, hire, transfer, assign or otherwise dispose of
the service or any software, if provided, without the prior written approval of Omantel.
4. Any misuse or abuse of the service and any breach or violations of these conditions shall be at the
sole risk, responsibility and cost of the customer including but not limited to any customisation of the
Sharepoint portal site and any content including the content in any messages.
5. For the use of any service a domain name is required and internet connectivity including for Unified
Communication Service sufficient bandwidth to support video communications considering the
number of users.
The customer shall protect the secrecy of the password assigned to him at all times and shall ensure
that the same is not revealed or disclosed in any manner whatsoever to any person or persons
whomsoever. The customer shall be fully responsible for and shall bear all charges, losses and
damages arising from any use of this servicl by whosoever and howsoever the same may arise.
a. It is advisable that the Customer changes the password from time to time to ensure security
b. It is advisable that the Customer provide the Administrator Control Panel to One Employee.
6. Size of Mailbox
Each customer has a storage capacity or limit. This is done to protect your account and others from
potentially large volumes of email sent to a single address that could disable or halt the email system
server. Additional storage can be purchased. It is the end users responsibility to ensure that his/her
mailbox does not reach capacity. Omantel will be not responsible whatsoever for emails lost due to
full mailboxes. If you do not know how to check your mailbox size, and would like to know, you may
access Admin Control Panel to view your mailbox size.

‫لها قد طلبوا �إر�سالها �أم ال وحتتفظ عمانتل بحق رف�ض �أو تعليق �أو حتى �إنهاء اخلدمة يف �أي وقت ومن‬
‫ وال تتحمل عمانتل �أية‬. ‫دون �إ�شعارات م�سبقة لأي �شخ�ص ينتهك �أو لديه النية يف انتهاك هذه ال�سيا�سة‬
‫م�س�ؤولية مهما كانت �إذا مت �إيقاف �أو تقييد ا�سم النطاق اخلا�ص بك من قبل مزودي خدمة الإنرتنت نتيجة‬
.‫�إر�سال ر�سائل �إلكرتونية غري مرغوب فيها �أو كبرية احلجم‬
.)100( ‫كذلك حتتفظ عمانتل بحق حتديد عدد امل�ستقبلني للر�سائل الإلكرتونية الفردية �إىل‬
‫ ال يحق للعميل املتاجرة �أو �إعادة بيع �أو ت�أجري �أو حتويل �أو التنازل �أو خالف ذلك من ا�ستغالل للخدمة �أو لإي‬.3
.‫برنامج من دون موافقة عمانتل امل�سبقة واملكتوبة‬
‫ ويجب على‬.‫ يتحمل العميل م�س�ؤولية وتكاليف �أي �سوء ا�ستعمال للخدمة و�أي �إخالل �أو انتهاك لتلك ال�رشوط‬.4
‫العميل تعوي�ض عمانتل عن �أي مطالبة تن�ش�أ ب�شكل مبا�رش كنتيجة لال�ستعمال اخلاطىء للخدمة �أو االخالل‬
‫بهذه ال�رشوط �أو انتهاكها من قبل العميل و يت�ضمن ذلك دون حتديد اىل امل�شاركة فى �أى موقع �أو فى �أى‬
. ‫حمتوي مبا فى ذلك الر�سائل الإلكرتونية‬
.‫لإ�ستخدام خدمة حلول االت�صاالت املوحدة يجب �أن يت�ضمن ذلك �إ�سم النطاق اخلا�ص بك و خدمة االنرتنت‬.5
‫يجب على العميل يف كافة الأوقات حماية �رسية كلمة ال�رس املخ�ص�صة له ويجب �أن ي�ضمن عدم الك�شف �أو‬
‫ ويكون العميل م�س�ؤوال ً م�س�ؤولية تامة‬.‫االف�صاح عن كلمة املرور ب�أي حال من الأحوال لأي �شخ�ص �أو �أ�شخا�ص‬
‫ويجب عليه حتمل جميع امل�رصوفات واخل�سائر والأ�رضار التي تن�ش�أ عن �أي ا�ستعمال لهذه اخلدمة من قبل �أي‬
.‫�شخ�ص �أو ب�أي طريقة تت�سبب يف ن�شوء تلك امل�رصوفات �أو اخل�سائر �أو الأ�رضار‬
.‫ من امل�ستح�سن �أن يقوم العميل بتغيري كلمة املرور من وقت لآخر ل�ضمان حمايتها‬.‫�أ‬
.‫ من امل�ستح�سن �أن يقوم بتقدمي مدير لوحة التحكم ملوظف واحد‬.‫ب‬

Upon cancellation, your Omantel email and contact data located on Omantel’s services may no longer
be available. It is the subscriber’s responsibility to retrieve this data prior to the request for cancellation
of the service. Omantel cannot guarantee retrieval of data once an account is cancelled.
8. Omantel does not specifically support the following areas they are offered a “best efforts” basis

.‫و�أردت �أن تعرف فيمكنك الو�صول �إىل مدير لوحة التحكم ملعرفة حجم �صندوق بريدك الإلكرتوين‬

‫عند الإلغاء ف�إن بريدك الإلكرتوين لدى عمانتل وبيانات االت�صال املوجودة على مزودات خدمة عمانتل قد ال‬
‫ وال ت�ستطيع عمانتل‬،‫ وتقع عليك م�س�ؤولية ا�ستخراج هذه البيانات قبل طلب �إلغاء اخلدمة‬.‫تكون متوفرة‬

.‫ ت�صميم �أو تركيب برامج �أو �إجراء حماية من قبل العميل ميكن �أن ت�ؤثر على عملية االت�صال بخدمة عمانتل‬.1

VII.Use of Omantel service on a Macintosh or non-Windows computer
9. The charges for the service will be billed by Omantel monthly and the customer will be responsible to
pay the bill on a timely basis on or before as mentioned on the bill.
A. The charges for the service shall be based on tariff/rates published by Omantel and any
amendments thereto as may be introduced by Omantel from time to time.

the Omantel website or provided on request) and agree to abide by them.
