Finance Manager – Based in Sittwe
Plan is an international humanitarian, child-centred development organisation,
implementing programmes that promote the realization and fulfillment of children’s
rights and the alleviation of child poverty. Plan Myanmar is seeking a Finance
Manager to lead financial operations in our Sittwe Program Unit.
Reports to: Program Unit Manager –Sittwe
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Closing date for applications: 11th February 2015
Job purpose: The Finance Manager leads the Finance Department in the field
level and provides leadership on any financial processes that relate to the
activities/programs in the field.
He/She provides technical guidance to the
program staff, operation staff and local partners on Plan's financial system and
policies ensures efficient financial functioning of the office. The Finance Manager
is capable of addressing problems and developing solutions to financial issues
within the limits of Plan finance policy and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Citizen of Myanmar

In depth knowledge of financial management and accountancy

Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated professional experience in financial
management, accounting and internal control preferably with INGOs

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Admin or equivalent
demonstrated capacity.

Understanding of children’s rights and gender equality.

Good command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)

Good English and Myanmar language is an advantage.

Willingness to travel to remote and conflict affected area.
