Dear Church Friends, It has been a while since I’ve written this but I haven’t forgotten all of the prayers, cards, gifts, texts, and visits during and after my liver transplant. It has been seven months but I still have battles day to day that I am dealing with. I couldn’t have gotten through all of this without all of your prayers. This was one horrific surgery but God was good to me and my family and still is. After all of this, to learn that I had cancer in my liver was almost my breaking point. Praise God for not letting us always see the whole picture! I did not need to know this until I was past the surgery. Please keep remembering me. Also, please continue to remember the Doris Vaughn and Truman Johnson families. With love, Bridgette Keathley Darnall Dear Second Baptist, Thank you for praying for me and calling to check on me since my surgery at Shea Clinic. My tonsils and adenoids are now gone. I told my mom to look on the bright side— no more strep throat. Again, I’m so glad you prayed and called.
