There was a wonderful attendance at the
9.30 a.m. Mass last Tuesday, the Feast of
St. Blaise, and a fine turn out on Monday
for Candlemas - the blessing of our Parish
Candles.

Tenders for Painting
The exterior of the Church, Presbytery and
Parish Centre will be repainted when the
weather gets warmer.

thousands of people who have to endure
sleeping rough on our streets every night.

The Fair Trade Stall is available
after the three Masses this weekend in the parish centre. It is our
opportunity to support farmers
in the developing countries.

Mrs Hale died suddenly whilst on holiday.

Tom’s funeral took place at the Cemetery
Chapel last Tuesday and was very well
attended. His eldest daughter Jane Young
organised it wonderfully on behalf of the
family.

Our church was packed on Wednesday, 4th
February, for the funeral of Andrew
Thornton. Our deepest sympathy to his
wife Kirsty and all his family.
Dorothy McDermott (81)
Dorothy’s Requiem Mass will be on
Friday 20th at 9.30 a.m. Dorothy lived in
Cannon Flynn Court next to our Church
with her husband Kevin, and was a most
valued parishioner.
