By: Ms. Heather Meinen, Grade 1 Teacher What is going on?! AIS-West is making a book to showcase all of its AMAZING writers! Who can be published? Any AIS-West Elementary student (Pre-K through Grade 5). How can I be published?! 1. Your teacher will help you pick your best piece of writing. 2. You will edit, revise and get your final piece ready. 3. When your final piece is ready, your teacher will give you SUPER SECRET directions on how to submit your work! Are there any rules? YES! Only 1 piece of writing can be submitted per student. All work MUST be submitted no later than midnight on May 1st, 2015. NO EXCEPTIONS! 4
