Making a Social Impact by Preparing Young Adults for Today’s Job Market
Since 1981, MTC has provided education and training to hundreds of thousands of young people preparing
them to find quality jobs and become contributing members of their communities. This training is provided
through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program. MTC is the largest operator of Job Corps providing
training at 22 centers in 17 states.

MTC’s Education & Training division prepares young adults to be
successful in life through academic and technical training. MTC
trains 9,887 students daily and approximately 14,000 students
annually at its Job Corps centers.

Transition Services

MTC is contracted to provide outreach & admissions (OA)
through its centers for up to 5,121 students each year.

MTC is contracted to provide career transition services (CTS)
through its centers for up to 6,608 students each year.

MTC operates one OA & CTS contract independent of a Job
Corps center, for all potential students in Utah and Montana.
MTC is contracted to recruit 1,555 students and place 1,248
students through this contract.
