Troop down to Singapore Changi Airport for
your flight to Stockholm, capital of Sweden.
With a reputation for an open outlook to
living, design consciousness and a surfeit
of waterways and green spaces, central
Stockholm is built atop an archipelago of
14 islands.

Stockholm

This morning, embark on a tour to the oldest
part of the city, an island called Gamla Stan
or old town in Swedish. Then, be impressed by
the sightseeing tour of this lovely city including
the City Hall. Apart from the numerous
rooms, you will set your eyes on the glorious
Golden Hall, venue of the annual Nobel Prize
Dance. The Blue Hall, with its great staircases
inspired by Doge’s Palace in Venice, is where
the Nobel Dinner is held. Stroll through the
picturesque old town to admire its cluster of
beautifully preserved old buildings and narrow
streets which formed the city in the 16th to
18th centuries.

Stockholm - Karlstad - Oslo

This morning, travel to Karlstad, one of the
sunniest towns in Sweden. Soak up the rays
in this picturesque lake port that is located
by Vanern, Sweden’s largest lake. Thereafter,
bid farewell to Sweden as you cross over to
Norway, a rugged and mysterious country
with its landscape comprising vast swathes
of blue glaciers, dramatic peaks and deep
fjords. Spend the night in Oslo, the capital city
of Norway and one of the oldest capital cities
in Scandinavia.

Oslo - Lillehammer
(Breakfast/Dinner)
This morning, delve deep into the culture and
history of Norway as you embark on a city tour
around Oslo, which will kick off with a stop
at Akershus Fortress and Harbourfront.
This medieval castle, located strategically at
the tip of the headland, was completed at the
turn of the 13th century and has withstood
several sieges over the years. Today, the
fortress area is often used as the backdrop
for celebrations and events. Next, proceed to
Viking Ship Museum, where you will learn
more about the epic, seafaring history of the
Vikings. Come face-to-face with the displays
of a trio of gigantic Viking vessels, Oseberg,
Gokstad and Tune, which were discovered
in royal burial mounds in the Oslo fjord. View
artefacts and objects found at the chief grave
at Borre, located in the Vestfold district.
Thereafter, travel to Lillehammer, site of the
1994 Winter Olympics, for your overnight stay.

Lillehammer - Lom Geiranger - Loen

Loen - Gudvagen - Sognefjord

This morning, make a photo stop at Boyabreen
Glacier before boarding the cruise from
Gudvangen to see Sognefjord. With its
snow-clad summits juxtaposed against
narrow valleys and dramatic waterfalls, let
the gorgeous views make your hearts flutter.
Next, journey on to fascinating Flam. If you are
in the mood for more discovery, hop onboard
the Flam Railway at your own expense, where
the unforgettable journey between high
mountains and the fjord makes for one scenic
affair to remember.
day 7
Flam - Bergen
(Breakfast/Dinner)
This morning, make you way to Bergen via
Voss, the capital of Norway during the 12th
and 13th centuries and the early 17th century.
En route, make a stop at Tvindefossen, one of
the most beautiful waterfalls in Norway. Upon
arrival in atmospheric Bergen, visit Hakon’s
Hall, the largest and most imposing building
of the royal residency in the 13th century, and
shop for freshly boiled shrimps at the popular
Fish Market.
day 8
Bergen - Bruravik - Brimnes
- Geilo
(Breakfast/Dinner)
After breakfast, depart Bergen and embark on
a scenic drive towards Geilo. Try not to doze
off on your journey as you will not want to
miss the moment of crossing the Hardanger
bridge, Norway’s longest suspension bridge
that links Bruravik to Brimnes. Then, continue
on your journey along charming valleys before
arriving in Geilo for your overnight stay.
day 9
Geilo - Oslo - Copenhagen
(Breakfast/Cruise Buffet Dinner)
This morning, make your way back to Oslo.
Spend some time at leisure before you board
an overnight cruise to Scandinavia’s largest
and liveliest city Copenhagen, capital of
Denmark and burial place of Hans Christian
Andersen, renowned children’s author.

After breakfast, depart Lillehammer for Lom
via a scenic drive. Look out of the window for
glimpses into the rugged natural landscape.
Make a stop at Lom Stave Church, one of
the biggest and most beautiful stave churches
in Norway and marvel at its distinctive
wooden architectural form. Thereafter, head
to Geiranger and take on a cruise, which will
transport you to Geirangerfjord, a deep blue
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Glide through
its astonishing landscape of snow-covered
mountain peaks, lush emerald vegetation
and majestic waterfalls. Spend the night in
picturesque Loen, a village surrounded by
towering mountains and magnificent scenery.

Upon arrival in Copenhagen, pay homage to
the resplendent Danish sights by embarking
on a sightseeing tour which includes a visit
to Amalienborg Palace, which is the winter
home of the Danish royal family. Then, continue
to Christiansborg Palace which holds the
seat of Danish’s Parliament since 1918 and one
of the most elaborate constructions from the
age of Baroque architecture. View the fabled
Little Mermaid bronze sculpture by Edvard
Eriksen which has emerged over time as icon
and embodiment of the spirit of Copenhagen.
The sculpture has been set on a rock just off
the shore since 1913 and is inspired by one of
Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytales. See also
the magnificent Gefion Fountain, the largest
monument in Copenhagen and used by many
as a wishing well. Drive around Nyhavn which
means new harbour, one of the most famous
entertainment streets in Copenhagen. Then,
spend the rest of the afternoon and evening
at leisure. May we suggest you visit Stroget,
a pedestrian precinct bustling with activity,
shops and many open-air cafes and Tivoli
Gardens at your own expense, Copenhagen’s
most popular amusement park that has
earned rave reviews for its fine selection of
entertainment and restaurants.

last-minute shopping before bidding farewell
to Copenhagen as you transfer to the airport
for your flight home.
