With the objective of developing a sense of healthy competition, all the students are divided into four houses namely GARGI HOUSE LAXMI HOUSE MEERA HOUSE BHARTI HOUSE Each House is put on duty for a week. The House on duty organises activities like conducting the morning assembly, attending to the cleanliness of the school, checking of late comers, reading the news of the days, ensuring discipline and maintaining the display boards. Each House has Teachers-in-charge, a House Captain, a Vice-Captain and a different colour and a flag. Inter-house competitions are held regularly. The House that scores the maximum points at the end of the year is declared the 'Champion House'. 9 KANYA GURUKUL HOSTEL CALENDAR 2015-16 Assignment/Model making APRIL-2015 Date Day th 16 to 22 Activities nd FA2 (b) Picture Comp. / Open Book Test (1st to 10th) & Unit Test (11th & 12th) th 15 Feb. onwards (for Hostel Students) th 25 March Entrance test for Admission th to 10 April 25th March to Wed. to st 31 March Tue. st 31 July Session Starts with Hawan 2nd April Thur.
