NEWS FROM THE PEWS – It is with sadness that we announce the recent passing away of Phyllis Wilson on Monday, April 6th and Mary Moodie on Tuesday, April 7th (in B.C.) The funeral for Phyllis was held this past Friday at the Marlatt Funeral Home Chapel in Dundas. The funeral for Mary Moodie will take place here at Central – date and time to be determined. Please remember to keep these families in your prayers. Please also continue to keep Dawn Salemi, Eileen Reynolds, Kay Lumsden, Doris Middleton, Jean Walker and Vivian Latta in your prayers. FOOD DRIVE – We are continuing to collect donations of non-perishable food items which will be given through Hamilton Food Share to less fortunate Hamilton families. Gregory Davidson will be presented to the Presbytery of Hamilton at their regular meeting on April 14th at 7 pm at the Church of St. John and St. Andrew, 19 Tisdale Avenue North. Members and adherents of the congregation are welcome to attend this meeting to show their support for the call. If you have not yet signed the call, please speak with your elder as soon as possible; Presbytery will be considering the strength of the call based on the percentage of members who have signed in support.
