CANADIAN FRIENDS OF HÔPITAL ALBERT SCHWEITZER – HAITI (HAS) is holding its annual fund-raising event called the Haiti Happening on Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Michelangelo Conference and Banquet Centre in Hamilton. We have committed to raising $100,000.00 towards the budget for child and maternal health care services, part of the vital work done through this hospital in the Artibonite Valley and the mountains beyond. This celebration reflects the culture of Haiti through an authentic dinner, videos, music and scores of beautifully handcrafted items from that country for silent auction. You are invited to learn more about this independent hospital, and its influence on our four speakers this year. Tickets are $75.00 per person with a charitable receipt of $40.00.
