We welcome The Rev. Moe Anderson to the pulpit this morning.
Moe Anderson is the Spiritual Care Professional to the Critical Care
Program at Toronto Western Hospital. She holds an M.Div from
McMaster, a Diploma in Spirituality in Health Care from Waterloo
Lutheran and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute.
Her recent publication called “Spiritual Care – A Practical Handbook”
has been well received. Moe lives in Oakville where she is a Spiritual
Director, piano teacher and proud mother to a teenage daughter.

FAITH FINDERS: A Family Prayer
Dear God,
Help us to be forgiving. Make us friendly and open. Help us to do the right thing and be gracious. Help us to
include people in our life and not exclude them. Help us to value the people around us, so that we can live a
happy life together, without stress or grudges. Amen
Infant care is available during the service. Please feel free to keep your
little ones with you in church. For the nursery, go through the door at the
front of the sanctuary (right side). Once through, walk to the end of the
corridor where you will see the nursery. Washrooms are available in the
same corridor. Children are invited to attend Faith Finders during the
worship service. Our congregation follows the Presbyterian Church in
Canada Leading with Care policy, which seeks to ensure a “Climate of
Safety for Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults”.
CHARLTON CLUB:
Charlton Club meets on February 11 for young people Grades 6-12. The dates are February 4- March
11 inclusive, then March 25-April 29 inclusive for a total of 12 weeks. Each Wednesday evening will run from
6:00 pm -8:00 pm. Please note the change in time.

‘CONTACT’ NEWSLETTER – The deadline for submissions for the
Feb/Mar issue is 12:00 noon this Monday, February 9th.
FOOD DRIVE – We are continuing to collect donations of non-perishable
food items which will be given through Hamilton Food Share to less fortunate
Hamilton families. Please place any items that you bring in the blue boxes
located at the front entrance in the narthex. A list of “Most Needed Items” has
been posted for your consideration. Thank you in advance for your donations!
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETIING - Please make note that the date of the
Annual General Meeting is February 22nd, 2015. A light luncheon will be
served immediately after the worship service followed by the annual meeting
in the Church Hall. We encourage everyone to attend -- this is your chance
to be informed and involved in the life of your church community! Hope to
see you there.
CENTRAL’S UPCOMING ANNUAL MEETING - If you would like to
contribute to the luncheon provided following the meeting, please place your
name beside one of the menu items outlined on the sign-up sheet in the
Church Hall.

SAVE THE DATE - THE TORCHMEN ARE COMING TO
CENTRAL! – Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Known for years
for their Southern Gospel Music, this male quartet has touched many souls
with the ageless message of Christ. Their audiences have been known to
laugh, shed a tear or two, clap hands, tap toes and sing along. This will be an
evening you won’t want to miss. Free admission. A free will offering will
be taken.
CANADIAN FRIENDS OF HÔPITAL ALBERT SCHWEITZER –
HAITI (HAS) is holding its annual fund-raising event called the Haiti
Happening on Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the
Michelangelo Conference and Banquet Centre in Hamilton. We have
committed to raising $100,000.00 towards the budget for child and maternal
health care services, part of the vital work done through this hospital in the
Artibonite Valley and the mountains beyond. This celebration reflects the
culture of Haiti through an authentic dinner, videos, music and scores of
beautifully handcrafted items from that country for silent auction. You are
invited to learn more about this independent hospital, and its influence on our
four speakers this year. Tickets are $75.00 per person with a charitable
