the UCSB Office of Admissions for informational
webinars offered weekly from May 19 – August
6, 2015 to get an inside look at the admissions
process.
UC Application Webinar
UCSB Admissions Counselors will present a stepby-step tutorial to help you understand how to fill
out the UC application. Admissions Counselors will
cover information about entering school records
and extracurricular activities, and they will briefly
touch upon the personal statement. Appointments
are available (register for one 60-minute webinar):
• Thursdays at 4 p.m. PST
UC Personal Statement Webinar
Take a look at how UC Admissions uses the
personal statement in the freshman selection
process. Admissions Counselors will share what
makes a great personal statement and what you
need to avoid! This is not a one-on-one evaluation,
but is a great way to help you get started or edit a
first draft. Appointments are available (register for
one 60-minute webinar):
