APALACHEE 2015 FALL INTERNATIONAL CAMPOREE Participants from: NE Georgia, Blue Ridge and Daniel Boone Councils Weekend: 9-11 October, 2015 Location: Camp Rainey Mountain, Clayton, GA The weekend will focus on exposure to other cultures around the world through many different exhibits and activities, including: - Advancement Opportunities – Work on the Citizenship in the World Merit Badge and International Spirit Award as well as participate in an internationally sponsored service project to earn your Messengers of Peace ring. - Australian Rules Football and Cricket – The Atlanta Kookaburras and Atlanta Cricket Association will be in attendance to explain their respective sports and offer scouts a chance to play and learn sports that have international following - Amateur Radio – Scouts can learn the basics of Amateur Radio and have an chance to talk with others from around the world - International Cooking Competition Opportunities to learn about Scouting Heritage from outside the US Camporee Chairs: Myron Petro, [email protected]; Phil Krajec, [email protected]
