ASSOCIATE
What is a Professional Associate?
A Professional Associate will be recognised for their professional expertise and knowledge, and
appear on the public APP membership directory.
You will also be making a commitment to make sure your skills and expertise are kept up to date
through participating in Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) each year. As a Professional
Member you’ll undertake 20 points of CPD annually including being able to attend CPD events
(generally 1.5 hours) for free.
Shortly, we will start to build a comprehensive technical resources section that will only be available
to Professional Associates.
How much does it cost to become a Professional Associate?
There is an annual fee of $300.00 + GST per year, made up of:

$295.00 + GST Professional Associate Fee; and

$5.00 + GST APP Benevolent fund (which will be created to assist Associates in financial
hardship).
The year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year. For the 2015 year, the period up to 1 July, will be
free, with the annual fee applying for 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
APP also recognises that circumstances change, and if you need to resign part way through the year,
all you need to do is email us at [email protected] to let us know, and we’ll arrange a refund of the
remainder of your fee, rounded up to the nearest month.
What about corporate or bulk rates?
If you’re an organisation with a large team, contact us on [email protected] to discuss how we can
work with you on corporate or bulk rates for Professional Associates, where the organisation is
paying for their membership.
