THE STARFISH THROWERS
Powerful, direct and heartrending, The
Starfish Throwers explores how three of
the world’s most fiercely compassionate
individuals struggle to restore hope to the
hopeless in unexpected and sometimes
dangerous ways. Continents apart, a sixth
grader, a top chef and retired school teacher
fight what seems an unwinnable war until
they discover their impact may reach further
than their action.

growth of the craft beer industry and the
struggles of two start-up breweries.

WHILE WE’RE YOUNG
A middle-aged couple’s career and marriage are overturned when a
disarming young couple enters their lives.
Rated R for language. (1:50)
IT FOLLOWS
For nineteen-year-old Jay, Autumn should be about school, boys and weekends out at the lake. But after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter, she
finds herself plagued by strange visions and the inescapable sense that
someone, something, is following her. Faced with this burden, Jay and her
friends must find a way to escape the horrors that seem to be only a few
steps behind.
Rated R for disturbing violent and sexual content including graphic nudity,
and language. (1:53)
BACKCOUNTRY
An urban couple go camping in the Canadian wilderness - Alex is a
seasoned outdoorsman while Jenn, a corporate lawyer, is not. After much
convincing, and against her better judgment, she agrees to let him take
her deep into a Provincial Park to one of his favorite spots - the secluded
Blackfoot Trail. After three days their path disappears; they are hopelessly
lost without food or water. When they realize they have entered a bear’s
territory, being lost suddenly becomes the least of their problems. Terror,
horror, will, and survival become paramount.

HARRY POTTER AND THE
CHAMBER OF SECRETS (2002)
Harry Potter is back on the Bear Tooth Big Screen!

GOD HELP THE GIRL
Set in Glasgow, Scotland, the film is about a girl called Eve who is in the
hospital dealing with some emotional problems and starts writing songs
as a way of getting better. Songwriting becomes her way forward, leading
her to the City where she meets James and Cassie, two musicians each at
crossroads of their own. What follows is a story of renaissance over the
course of a long, dream-like Summer.

SIXTEEN CANDLES
Samantha’s life is going downhill fast. The fifteen-year-old has
a crush on the most popular boy in school, and the geekiest
boy in school has a crush on her. Her sister’s getting married,
and with all the excitement the rest of her family forgets her
birthday! Add all this to a pair of horrendously embarrassing
grandparents, a foreign exchange student named Long Duc
Dong, and we have the makings of a hilarious journey into
young womanhood.
