BETHANY EAST PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE FOR SEPARATED & DIVORCED 45+ MAY, 2015 ***APRIL RECAP*** Happy Spring Everyone! We are all waiting anxiously for the warm weather to arrive. The days sometimes seem to go slow, but the months fly by. We all need to utilize and enjoy our life to the fullest and make all the days count. The key to enjoyment and fulfillment in life is, of course, to be positive! The way we handle all of our trials and challenges makes a great difference in our achieving happiness in our life. I am looking forward to the outside activities and seeing everyone at the social functions during the Summer months. Take time to “Smell the Flowers”. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: * People are often unreasonable and self-centered. FORGIVE THEM ANYWAY. * If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. BE KIND ANYWAY. * If you are honest, people may cheat you. BE HONEST ANYWAY. * If you find happiness, people may be jealous. BE HAPPY ANYWAY. * The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. DO GOOD ANYWAY. * Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. GIVE YOUR BEST ANYWAY. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway. Make it a great month! BETHANY EAST has no formal membership or yearly fees. One need only attend the various functions to be a member. An admission charge at our meeting and functions is necessary to help defray expenses. All of the events are meant to provide a friendly, non-stressful, non-threatening, non-competitive atmosphere. You can be with others of separation or divorce. No event requires a date. Events are planned with the single person in mind. Reservations are necessary for some events and deadlines will be strictly adhered to. The spiritual dimension of the group does not come from the Spiritual Committees. It is God shining out in each one and sharing Himself clearly in the caring each shows for the others, as well as the generous giving and sharing of themselves. In helping others, we best help ourselves. BOARD MEETING to be held on scheduled days to be announced.
