We provide room temperature stabilization solutions for biological samples and assays. Position Objective: As the Technical Support Specialist you will provide technical support (via phone and/or email) on our reagents, devices and collection products to customers, subsidiaries and distributors, field personnel, and others. You will assist customers to effectively navigate through product lines to determine which products best represent their needs. The ability to capture the root of an issue and work to provide or generate support information to resolve of the issue will be a key component of your success in this role. These activities will not be restricted to current customers and often the information will be used to build confidence in the market and secure new clients. The individual will maintain a technical service database with reference files and actively participate in the maintenance of our quality system. You will represent Biomatrica at trade shows and conferences. This role is also responsible for bringing fresh ideas, establishing strong customer connections and increasing lifetime customer value. Possession of excellent computer skills (Required) Experience with Salesforce or other CRM Life Stabilized® Previous laboratory experience required Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and have strong interpersonal skills. Experience Requirements: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Must possess strong listening and comprehension skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all personality types. Experienced in biological sample processing for nucleic acid and protein-based assays. Sound understanding of qPCR and immunoassay-based products and adequate laboratory skills to perform assays in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for use, or to suggest alternative methods. Must be capable of multitasking and be an effective time manager. Polished professional with strong interpersonal, presentation, grammatical, spelling, proofreading, telephone etiquette, and social skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and proficiency in using desktop publishing software and database programs, as well as proficient internet research skills. Ability to use diplomacy and handle sensitive and confidential matters discreetly, exhibiting honesty, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment at all times. Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities, projects, and workflow. Attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
