The shire of Deodar will be celebrating AS “L” of the SCA with a simple day of Armor, Arts & Sciences, and “Love” of the modern middle ages. The love of creating things, for the love of the swish as you perry the hit, the love of the ring of a sword on your helm, or the love of just hanging out with your SCA friends. This is a free site so please come out and spend the day with us. Please bring an athletic cup and sweat pants. Beginner steel combat fighting clinic to follow loaner gear available for newbies. Goal: To introduce people to the SCA and to award a title to a Beau and Belle of Love and Beauty, based on the number of points earned by an entrant during the various days activities. Points given for A&S entries, fighting victories (bear pit) and other fun activities.
