Moreover, those participants tend to be engaged for longer than just a season or session. Mark Verbeek Mark is passionate about the enhancement of health and physical education in education, recreation and sport. His experience includes 16 years of teaching, coaching and professional sport. He believes that health and physical education takes place anywhere and has a wealth of experience in outdoor education as instructor and director of programming. His largest physical literacy project thus far has been the aggregation of the multiple sectors and the successful launch of the Hamilton Physical Literacy Summit, currently going into its second year as the Ontario Physical Literacy Summit - www. physicalliteracyhamilton.ca . He’s looking forward to the integration of the Physical Literacy 101 and PLAY Tools workshops across the sectors and solidifying physical literacy as the backbone of an active Canada!
