An advertisement was published in newspapers on 18-04-2015 for Walk-in-interview
for appointment of CA for implementation of ABAS. Only one application was received from
Mr. Samir Kiran Garwe. The applicant demanded monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- for
providing services on all working days Rs. 25,000/- for providing services 3 days a week.
The applicant doesn’t have any prior experience of working with municipalities. The Board
may consider and approve the appointment.

submersible pump along with G.I. Fitting, submersible cable etc. complete job work at
Untkhana area GLR SY. No. 365, Kamptee Cantt. Were called through advertisement in
daily news papers and scheduled to be open on dt. 21-05-2015. The estimated cost of work
Rs. 3.60 lakhs.

AND DOMESTIC LIGHT OF KAMPTEE CANTONMENT FOR
2015-2016.
Tenders for maintenance of street lights and electrical fittings in Cantonment Board
Fund buildings were called through e-procurement mode and scheduled to be open on 19-052015(3rd Call). The tender is valued at Rs. 14.5 lakhs.

Tenders for 15 Casual Labourers for cleaning and maintenance of Kamptee
Cantonment were called through e-procurement mode against an MRP of Rs. 21.10 Lakhs
and were opened on 18-05-2015.
Four bids were received out of which 3 bids were rejected for want of required
documents. The fourth bid was found technically correct but was not opened for financial bid.

AGENDA NO. 42 : OPENING OF CENTER FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED CHILDREN
IN KAMPTEE CANTONMENT.

To consider and approve the opening of centre for differently-abled children
“Samarth”. The Survey for differently-abled children in Cantonment area was carried out &
found 11 differently-abled children in Cantonment area. The centre may be opened in one of
the rooms of Cantonment General Hospital after renovation.

AGENDA NO. 43 : WATER SUPPLY FROM NAGPUR MUNCIPAL CORPORATION
(NMC), NAGPUR.
To consider the Executive Engineer, Water Works Department, Nagpur Municipal
Corporation (NMC), Nagpur letter No. WW/EE/142/2015 dated 20-04-2015, informed that a
meeting was conveyed on 18th Feb, 2015 under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Guardian
Minister Shri. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of Energy, Maharashtra state. In the
meeting Hon’ble Minister directed to inform the Cantonment Board Kamptee that from 01 st
Nov. 2015, Cantonment Board Kamptee should develop their own separate water supply
system and NMC will not supply water to Cantonment Board, Kamptee from 01st Nov 2015.
Cantonment Board, Kamptee is drawing bulk water supply from NMC, Nagpur at
Kanhan Water Works since 1990 in lieu of agreement dated 09-10-1989 and as per clause of
the agreement, the Cantonment Board, Kamptee is receiving nine (09) lakhs litre of bulk
water. Further, Cantonment Board Kamptee is having its own reservoir and water supply
lines at source and is drawing only the treated water from NMC, Nagpur. This Bulk water is
supplied to the poor residents of Cantonment. However, it shall not be in the interest of the
Board and against zero budgeting policy to develop separate infrastructure in dependent
existing infrastructure.

AGENDA NO. 44 : ISSUE OF TRADE LICENCES
To consider and approve trade licence applications u/s 277 of Cantts Act. 2006. Total
34 applications are received out of which 22 applications are from residents of Cantt. area
and 16 applications are from residents outside Cantt limits. All applications along with
recommendations of HS/MH letter No. CBK/Trade Licence/D-21 dt. 07-04-2014 of AHO
Kamptee are placed on the table. Trade licence fee of different rates was fixed by Cantt board
vide CBR No. 02 dt. 11-02-2013 to issue trade licence to 38 applicants for financial year
2014-15 to trade in public area only.

AGENDA NO. 45: PURCHASE OF ONE NEW TRACTOR
To consider and approve purchase of one new tractor to replace existing tractor which
was purchased more than 18 years ago (On 01-03-1997). The parts of existing tractor are not
available in the market. Moreover, the tractor is now incapable of doing heavy work. It is
expedient to replace the existing tractor with a new one to run the work smoothly.
