Summer Meal Program
Chippewa Falls School District is starting a
Summer Meal program this summer after listening to the need from the community. The following locations will provide breakfast and some
will be open for lunch during the summer school
schedule. Meals at these locations are free to
any child under 18 years of age.
Lunch served 11:15 -11:45 in the cafeteria.
High School June 9 - 30 (3 weeks)
Breakfast served 7:30 - 8:30 in Cray Commons.
No lunch will be served at this location.

At the Middle and High School level, students
are allowed to purchase items individually or in
addition to the traditional lunch and breakfast
meal. Restrictions can be placed on an individual student’s account to not allow a la carte
purchases. It does not mean the student cannot
have it, but rather they must provide cash at the
time of purchase. Additionally, a dollar limit can
be set per student.
Lunch cost for January per child: (19 meal days)
- Elementary $2.00/meal and $38/month.
- MS and HS $2.25/meal and $42.75/month.
- Milk is available for purchase at any school for
$0.35 for all students. If you send a lunch
from home, you may want to consider sending a
beverage if you do not want to incur a milk
charge on your account.
Free and Reduced Price School Meals:
All students on free or reduced price meals are
entitled to one breakfast and lunch per day.
- Additional items can be purchased at the MS
and HS and each item will be charged individually. Students on free or reduced price meals will

At Parkview, our art students learn about many
different cultures of the world, in addition to the
many techniques and styles reminiscent to the
masters' works themselves. Students learn to
include those techniques and styles into their
own works of art.

If your child takes a daily medication, please
send only enough pills to get your child
through the half day on June 5, 2015. Any
extra medication will need to be picked up on
or before the last day of school by a parent or it
will be disposed of.
Asthma
Day Camp
Registration is open for Active with Asthma
Camp, which will be held June 22-26, 2015 at
Bay View High School in Milwaukee. Camp is
open to children between the ages of 8 and 12,
diagnosed with asthma and taking daily medications. To learn more, download the registration

Pick asparagus that are firm with tight and compact tips or a
medium green color with purple highlights and a white, woody
bottom that is less than 15% of the total length;
it should squeak when squeezed
Fatter asparagus is more flavorful and tender than thin asparagus
To prepare, just break off the bottom part of the stem
1 cup raw asparagus
How to Eat
Eat raw as is

Parkview has a TV located on the west wall by the display cases in Central Park.
It is used for announcements of upcoming events and general information for the school.
The screen changes continually throughout the day showing each event many times. We
allow you the opportunity to place an “ad” for your child that will run on Wednesdays. This is
used as a fundraiser for the PTO. The ad will cost $5.00 and will include a picture of your
child (after the pictures are taken if they are in kindergarten or new to Parkview), their
first name and a short message from you!
The PTO funds many things for Parkview including playground equipment and toys, field
trips and sound systems for the classroom teachers so the money will be used for your children at Parkview in some way.
If you would like to place an ad fill out the form on the bottom half of this flyer and send it,
with $5.00, to the Parkview office at least two days before the ad will appear.
