SEFTON HIGH SCHOOL PRELIMINARY EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN ENROLMENT YEARS 7-12 RESIDING OUT OF THE DESIGNATED INTAKE AREA INFORMATION  The enrolment placement panel meets twice per year, in February and September, and out of area positions are offered on the basis of established criteria and vacancies. Frequently there are no vacancies so no offers can be made. Only information included with the application will be considered by the panel.  Attendance by siblings or relatives at this school, currently or in the past, is not relevant to Sefton High School’s enrolment criteria. Travel and proximity to this school are also not relevant.  If you are applying for enrolment as an out of area placement in the community stream, you must provide the following.  Completed original Preliminary Expression of Interest in Enrolment form and student statement  Original full Birth Certificate for the child for whom you are requesting enrolment. If the child was born overseas, his/her passport and visa documents must also be provided  Photocopies of the two most recent school reports (originals will not be accepted)  Photocopies of any school or external awards gained in the last two years  Photocopy of the most recent NAPLAN report  Photocopies of any other documentation that may support the application  Attached is the Preliminary Expression of Interest in Enrolment form. Both sides must be completed. This form should be returned to the Sefton High School Administration Office only when fully completed and accompanied by all relevant documents. The Preliminary Expression of Interest in Enrolment form will not be accepted unless all the required material is provided at that time.   NOTE Submission of this form does not automatically guarantee enrolment. The penalty for providing false or misleading information to a school when making an application for enrolment is up to 2 years imprisonment, $22,000 fine or both in accordance with Section 207B of the Crimes Act 1900.
