West Volunteer Vacancies 2015 CARITAS CARE is looking for volunteers for The Bridging the Gap which provides advice and support to vulnerable elderly people with hearing loss. Some volunteers go on home visits or provide a service at an outreach drop in session in either Millom, Cockermouth, Egremont, Keswick, Maryport, Whitehaven, Wigton, Workington which take place monthly. The Board meets every two months on a Tuesday (during the day) - meetings alternate between Barrow and Carlisle. They also need volunteers to support their Lunch Groups which meet monthly and they enjoy a meal together. The groups meet Wednesdays in Allerdale and Millom and Thursdays in Copeland.
