Standard Terms & Conditions The following provision details the terms and conditions of undertaking business with Digital Africa Trading 39 or its subsidiary Digital Africa. 1. Website Design  Each website will be allowed 2 reviews: First review after website is completed and Second review on the changes made after the first review. Any changes after the second review will be billable.  You have 7 days to do a full first review on your site. Note: after 7 days with no feedback we will send you your final invoice.  You have 7 days to do a second review ONLY on the changes made after the first review, after 7 days we will send you your final invoice (with or without feedback).  Extra images and changes to approved images will be billable.  Extra pages and extra functionality will be billable.  All content for website must be supplied by client. 50% of quote is payable before commencing of website creation. Remainder is payable before website is published live. 2. Graphic Design     No designing will commence before deposit has been received. No final design will be released until paid in full. Standard design rates apply @ R 650 per hour unless otherwise quoted. All designs remain the property of Digital Africa Trading or any of its divisions until paid in full. 3. Signage 1. The above prices are our best estimate for the work specified above. Actual on-site conditions may impact on the cost of erecting the proposed signage. Every effort has been made to anticipate contingencies but material differences on-site, or in your requirements, will change the validity of this estimate. We will advise you before we commission any work that will attract additional fees. 2. Before Digital Africa processes your order, all jobs valued at less than R5 000.00 ex VAT require a 100% initial payment. All other jobs require a 50% initial payment. Should a job consist of multiple elements, all listed separately on the quote and invoice, a tranche payment will be required for each individual element, once each individual element is completed. No cross subsidization of individual elements of signs will be allowed. 3. The balance of the quoted, and any other agreed additional charges, becomes due and payable on completion of the job. 4. On your order we will commit to a final delivery date. 5. Should we miss the commit written deadline, though reasons within our control, we will immediately credit you with 15% of the job price. 6. All work will be done in normal weekday work hours. If the task moves into weekend time as a result of changes you make, overtime charges will apply. 7. Our work carries the Digital Africa guarantee. The details of this vary from job to job, but our minimum standard are: * 12 months guarantee on all workmanship * Vinyl used will not shrink, fade, peel or crack within 36 months of erection * Paints used will not fade, peel or crack within 12 months of erection 8. This quote is valid for 15 days. 9. Suitable artwork is to be provided by you. In the case that the artwork has to be created, or reworked to make it suitable for use, we reserve the right to charge for this service at R650.00 per hour. The file must be in PC format. The file must be in a Vector format (no rasters or bitmaps). Any text to be converted to curves. Ideally drawing should be full size. File formats may be either: *.eps, *.cdr, *.plt, *.ai (version 3) 10. All signage work done remain the property of Digital Africa until paid in full. 11. This quote includes all electrical components within the sign but specifically excludes running power to and connecting the sign. 12. All goods not paid for seven (7) days from receipt of invoice or statement as per negotiated term, will be charged interest at the current prime rate of First Rand Bank plus five (5) percent. 13. This quote supersedes and nullifies all previous quotes. 14. Without prejudicing the above, Digital Africa cedes all responsibilities for ownership and maintenance of the sing (without detracting from the guarantee,) and takes no further responsibility for the same, once the sign has been erected and Digital Africa also hand over. Please note that Digital Africa carry contractors insurance that covers the sign UNTILL it is installed. Once your sign(s) is / are installed, Digital Africa recommend that you cover the signs under your standard property insurance contract. 15. I understand that by accepting this quote I am also waiving and abandoning the defence of prescription to any claim that Digital Africa should have against me for outstanding payments. 16. No indulgence or latitude by or failure of Digital Africa to enforce any of the terms of this document shall constitute a waiver of any of its rights, which shall not thereby be precluded from exercising any rights which may have arisen in the past or may arise in the future. 17. Where you have been given a price per sign, please note that if less that the full number of signs quoted on is ordered, the price per sign may increase to cover additional transport and all fixed costs. 18. Unless otherwise stated, the delivery and / or installation of the quoted signs requires between seven and ten working days from the last date, being the order received, deposit payment being received and artwork being signed off. Digital Africa only work with trained professional staff, agents and contractors.
