The Junior Development Officer will improve and elevate the organizations revenues, services and reputation in the community through organizing and following through with marketing, public relations, fundraising, social media and special events. JOB ACCOUNTABILITY •

Participates, organizes and follows through with special events, fundraising, public relations, and team building events Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations Pursues, markets and maintains relationships with revenue sources in the community Aids in maintaining and updating website, social media marketing to best represent organization Works with whole team to maximize growth potential, visibility and image in the community Delivers on outcomes that have been agreed upon as part of the fundraising and development plan Identifies, cultivates, and solicits philanthropic support by developing and maintaining relationships with assigned prospects; manages special projects; carries out fundraising priorities in the unit. Supports fundraising strategies and methods or activities to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of donors; participates in developing campaign materials, case statements, and brochures; works in collaboration to prepare reports and prospect research materials. •
