HEAD LICE
There have been reported cases of head lice in the school over
the last week. Head lice do not transmit infectious diseases –
they are transmitted by having head to head contact with
someone who has head lice.
You can access further information and guidelines from the
Department of Human Services on the following website.
http://www.health.vic.gov.au/headlice/
Health Regulations require that where a child has live head lice
they should not return to school until the appropriate treatment
of their hair has been started.
