BECOME AN SOS MENTOR

Do you have a family member with a disability or special
healthcare need?
Have you ever wished you could connect with someone
who has experienced a similar situation?
Are you willing to become a mentor and share your experience with
another parent?
BECOME AN SOS MENTOR
What is SOS?
Sharing Our Strengths (SOS) is a statewide peer
support network that connects families who are
raising children with disabilities or special health
care needs to other families.
Mentors share experiences, practical information
and resources, and offer emotional support. All you
need is a willingness to listen and share, and the
time to make a few phone calls, send a few emails,
or chat on social media.
