God-Centered ~ Respectful ~ Responsible March 6, 2014 Now Lent has begun, and as we wish for a change in the weather, perhaps we should make changes in our hearts and our actions first. Let’s clear out the baggage and debris from the winter that has accumulated in our lives. Let’s ask for forgiveness, and give forgiveness where needed. Let’s carry patience with us, wherever we go, rather than impatience and a spirit of rushing. And let’s sit with Jesus for awhile each day. Let’s make an effort to bring peace and understanding into each relationship in our lives; the only way to do that is to focus on Jesus in every moment and every interaction. GIRL WITH A CAPE AUTHOR AMY LOGAN: Please join us on Monday, March 10, for an assembly with author Amy Logan (a St. Dennis alum). She will share the story of her book, Girl With A Cape, inspiring us to be aware of “the power of our everyday actions; the power we have in paying it forward with kindness.” The first assembly will be in the gym from 1:00-1:30PM; the second session is 1:45-2:15PM.
