10:00 am or come to
morning minyan on Sundays March 22 and
29 to sell your chametz. It is customary to
make a donation to the synagogue in
consideration for this service. All
proceeds will go to the Special Events
Fund to cover the costs of celebrating
holidays at Or Shalom.

Or Shalom is holding its first Trivia Night
fundraiser on April 26th. A master trivia leader
will run the contest and we invite trivia experts
and novices to come out. It promises to be a fun
evening for everyone with prizes for first and
second place winners. Trivia questions will be
from all topics, only 10 Jewish questions. Invite
all your friends to join.
Choose your teammates & team name! Children
over 12 are welcome to participate. Tickets are
$36.00 per adult, $15.00 per student and
children over 12 years, $90.00 maximum per
family.

covers and seder plates. We have
Sharing The Journey by Alan Yoffe, a
new haggadah highlighting the
universality of the seder for the
contemporary Jewish family. We also
have A Family Haggadah, a haggadah
for children by Shoshana Silverman.
We will be open this Sunday, March 22
from 1010-1. If you need multiple copies
of a haggadah, please let us know asap
so we can order them.

Megillot,

This course will provide an introduction
to the five scrolls read for the holidays of
Sukkot, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot and Tisha
b’Av, including how each megillah came
to be associated with a specific holiday,
its history and how it fits into the greater
body of sacred Jewish writings.
