An expert panel including Jack Lang (Judge Business School, Raspberry Pi), and chaired by author and journalist Rachel Bridge were put through their paces by an enthusiastic audience of more than 60 Members. From the online survey that we ran after the event it was clear that not only did Members want to have more of this type of event but that there was a lot of support for the setting-up of an Emmanuel Business Forum. From the feedback so far, the Forum might comprise: • a LinkedIn group to share basic contact details, skills and information about business and entrepreneurial activities; and • events that provide opportunities for networking and in-depth discussion, targeting specific business sectors, strategies and issues. Please help us to establish the Business Forum by emailing the Emmanuel Society Office, emmanuel- your contact information and details about your key areas of interest so that we can plan to meet demand. Those who attended the Secrets of Entrepreneurship event in May will receive an email inviting them to participate. Please also let us know if you would be willing to lead discussions on specific issues. Topics requested so far include start-up strategies, recruiting, growing/scaling a business and growing business abroad. Can anyone offer a seminar room in their London office as a venue for Forum meetings? We look forward to hearing from you and getting the Emma Business Forum off the ground.
