ATHLETICS:
Softball will be cancelled today. We will hit at the field Thursday after school. (Coach Powless 10/14)
The boys cross country team competed in their sectional meet this past Saturday. The boys placed 9th out of 13
teams. Leading the way for the Pioneers were Josh Vandiver and Cory Griffith, both qualifying for regional on
Saturday the 18th. All runners are reminded to meet in Coach Gansman’s room after school today. (Coach Gansman

All boys’ soccer players should stop by the fields today after school to return their equipment. (Coach Dupps 10/14)
The BHS Football Boosters will be hosting a family football dinner this Thursday evening at
5:30 in the BHS Cafeteria. The dinner will be held to honor this year’s senior players. The
theme will be soup and sandwich night. Each player/family is asked to bring the following
items: Freshman-Soup, dessert and a 2 liter, Sophomores-Soup, dessert and a 2 liter,
Juniors-Soup, sandwiches and a 2 liter, and Seniors-Soup and a 2 liter. Please join us as we
recognize our senior players and support the team as they prepare to take on Mt Carmel Friday

Girls’ golf banquet is this Thursday at 6pm in the library. All team members must bring an appetizer.

The Girls Cross Country Team is going to Regional! The Girls placed 5th overall advancing them to the
Regional meet at Pike Central this Saturday. Everyone ran a personal best race to advance the team to
Regional! Congratulations Girls on running a great race! Congratulations also to Haley Barker who
finished in 4th place giving her a top 10 Sectional finish! (Coach Taylor 10/14)

POLICY & PROCEDURE:
Students – As soon as the lunch bells ring to dismiss you for your lunch period, you are to move quickly to and from the
cafeteria. There is not a 10 minute passing period. (Mr. Wilder 10/9 – 15)
Students, this is a reminder that ALL electronic devices and accessories are not allowed to be seen or heard from
7:38 to 2:45. This includes headphones, earbuds, etc. Any item seen, will results in demerits and other such
