The objective of the seminar is to explain and understand recent advances in packaging, regulatory issues related to it and will give emphasis on flexible packaging, materials for packaging, food packaging, nutraceuticals, designing of package and social impact of sustainable food packaging in minimizing and negative economic Packaging Of any product enhances the accaeptibility of the material, be it food product, FMC Goods or anything else. Packaging is important for safety, acceptability and for making anything user friendly. We prefer to buy a liquid adhesive, which is easy to use than any open container of the same. Packaging is an integral part of any product starting from raw to processed, food to pharmaceutical , fibre to construction material launched in responsible the for market. It is containment, protection and gives information regarding the product being enclosed. Socially, packaging in foods has a great impact. Firstly, consumers prefer packaged foods because they are attractive and safe consumption. In addition, for a packaging material retains a food product’s wholesomeness and all its sensory characteristics. Day by day as the packaging has become an essential part, the money involved has raised and consumers are becoming necessity aware of about the packaging. Aim and Objective of the Seminar? Packaging being one of the most versatile industry, it is important for everyone to understand technicalities and applications of environmental issues. The seminar will focus on food and industrial packaging applications of polymers. It will emphasize interdisciplinary research on processing, morphology structure, properties as well as applications in packaging of consumable product. It is useful for chemists, physicists, material scientist, food technologists and engineers. Who can participate? Participation is open to Academicians, Scientists, Industrial Persons, Research Scholars, Students, and Researchers in Polymer science, Packaging and Food science. Call for Abstract Abstracts for poster presentation not exceeding 200 words typed in English in a single paragraph in Times New Roman font 12 points are invited. The abstract should be sent only by e-mail at:[email protected] along with title of the paper, name of the author(s), and full address of correspondence including email and the name of the presenting author should be underlined. Abstract should be submitted latest by 26-10-2014. The abstract should be sent along with registration fee. Poster should be of 2’x2’ft2 size. The poster should contan titleauthor affiliation, summary, introduction, experimental, results and discussion and conclusion. The poster should be in printed form only. Only space will be provided to the presenter. Best poster will be awarded with cash prize and certificate.
