Springs from the Åland reform work ”community service reform”
with goals of meeting the economic and sturctual challenges in the
future and the Åland strategy for a sustainable Åland.
Goals:
A more active urban planning that promotes a
sustainable growth. To create a long term
development- and growth plan for a sustainable
Åland.
Focus:
Urban planning, growth, increased tax output and a
sustainable development.
The project is lead and managed by the Åland government and is to
include and cooperate with Åland municipalities, other public
authorities, NGO´s and business associations.

Hållbarhetsstrateg:
Sustainability Strategist
• En översiktlig plan /för att förverkliga den
hållbarhetsstrategi som fastställts i Omställning Åland –
strategisk planering för en hållbar framtid 2013–2051,
beaktande lagtingets beslut i frågan tas fram. Start to fill in
the time span of 2015-2051 with goals, targets, project etc.
• Konkreta åtgärder och projekt som kan genomföras inom
de närmaste fyra åren, utgående från hållbarhetsstrategins
dimensioner för ekonomisk, social och miljömässig utveckling
samt lagtingets beslut föreslås. Identify project and concrete
actions that can be taken.
• Utbildning för personal inom främst landskapets allmänna
förvaltning samt avdelningsvisa och/eller sektorvisa
backcastingprocesser genomföras. Organize educational
activities and arrange backcasting processes.
Meddelande till lagtinget, dec 2013.
Remitterades till finans- och näringsutskottet

Sustainable is defined by the four systems conditions /
sustainablisity principles.
The Framework for Strategic Sustainable development, FSSD, is to
be used to find goals, targets, and make plans..

Samhällsplanerare:
Urban Planner
• Sammanställning och kartläggning av befintliga planer,
inventeringar och kommunöversikter från alla kommuner. Map
and collect present plans- municipal as well as natural- and
cultural inventories.
• Skapande av ett översiktligt förslag till koordinerad mark‐
och resursanvändning inom ramarna för 11§ och 15‐16§ PBL,
samt i samklang med hållbar utveckling. Create a proposal for
a coordinated land- and resource use, whithin present
legislation and hand in hand with a sustainable development.
• Identifiering av utvecklingsområden och möjligheter för
en hållbar tillväxt och ökad skattekraft. Identify development
areas and possibilities for growth and incresed tax output.
• Fördelning och förslag till ansvar för genomförande av de
framtagna förslagen. Divide responsibility for realisation of the
proposed development ideas and suggestions.
