Each of us is a unique creation by God Himself and there is no other person like each of us. As we are unique, so we each have gifts and talents that God had given to us. He intends that we use them for His greater honor and glory, for the sanctification of our own souls and for the good of those around us. What He has gifted us with is not to be hidden away or set aside; we must use these gifts for Him. In addition, we should also realize that God gives us many personal graces and help so that we can advance in our Interior Life and grow in holiness and righteousness before Him. These too we must use so that we can become holier and more pleasing to Him. These graces and blessings are not to be swept aside or disregarded. The one fellow in the gospel thought he was doing the master a favor by not using what he was given and handing it back- HE WAS WRONG and paid a great price. We should strive to make use of all the Lord gives us for His greater honor and glory and our own salvation. ***************************************** Memorial Book The following names have been added to our Memorial Book to be remembered at Mass on the 15th of each month: +Lucian Jarosz John & Fran Nartowicz $10.00 ********************************************* 2014 Bishop’s Annual Appeal - Life-Changing Faith For over 32 years, the Phillipsburg Social Service Center, operated by Catholic Charities, has opened its doors to those with limited assets who search for the everyday means of sustenance.
