Kate and Zeljko wanted to express their thanks for such great support from Sunnyside church family and are disappointed not to be here in person to do that today. Monday Lunch Club driving – are you able to help in the New Year? It makes such a big difference to the lives of our Lunch Club members, giving them one of the few opportunities they have each week to get out of the house to enjoy some much needed fellowship and friendship together. We need at least 2 or 3 more regular drivers to make the scheduling easier and provide adequate cover for sickness/holidays etc. Perhaps you know of friends or neighbours who might be prepared to join our driving rota? Advent Gifts This year we thought it would be good to give donations at each service throughout Advent to overseas and local charities. As Christians, we feel we must respond to the Ebola crisis. We would also like to support people nearer home for whom Christmas is a difficult time of year. We are planning to divide our offerings between the Women’s Refuge in Hemel Hempstead and the residents of The Swan. There will be special collection buckets for us to use each time.
