Work-shop med Joseph Melnick
Den 16. og 17. November 2015 arranger GPO en work-shop fasilitert av
Joseph Melnick, se nærmere presentason av Joseph under.
Tema for work-shopen er å lære om og trene på the Cape Cod model of
change, brukt innen organisasjon.
The Cape Cod model
"The Cape Cod Model is a Gestalt based approach to working in organizations with
small groups of five to twelve individuals: whether peer or hierarchical. The model
incorporates such concepts as the Cycle of Experience, optimism, presence,
resistance, and experiment. We will practice the model and learn how to "see a
system" with "soft eyes" and give feedback so that it "sticks" and has high impact. In
this highly experiential workshop participants will have an opportunity to practice
these concepts with each other in a practicum setting".
Joseph Melnick
Joseph Melnick, Ph.D., is a clinical and organizational psychologist. Originally a
member of the professional staff and member of the Board of the Gestalt Institute
of Cleveland, he is currently the Chair of the Cape Cod training Program at the
Gestalt International Study Center and member of the Board. The founding editor
of the Gestalt Review, an international Gestalt journal, he is also the author of
over 100 professional publications, including Mending The World: Social Healing
Interventions by Gestalt Practitioners Worldwide (2009) with Edwin C. Nevis,
and is completing a book on the Cape Cod Model of Change with Sonia Nevis. He
teaches and trains therapists and consultants throughout the world.

Joseph har hatt mange tredagers “Writer´s work-shop” rundt om i verden. Dette er en mini
utgave på 2 timer. Vi ønsker å stimulere våre medlemmer til å skrive mer om gestalt i sitt
arbeid, vi ønsker å gjøre Gestalt mer synlig! Vi tilbyr derfor denne mini work-shopen på 2
timer helt gratis til GPO sine medlemmer. Joseph har skrevet over 100 proffesjonelle
publikajsoner. Han har fasilitert mange Writer´s Work-Shops, kanskje han kan hjelpe
nettopp deg til å komme igang med ditt prosjekt!
Hvis det er interesse for det vil GPO vurdere å arrangere en tredagers work-shop i å
skrive!
Joseph Melnick om Writers´Workshop:
Writers' Workshop. Nearly all of us are writers. Rarely have I ever met anyone who does not
have at least an idea or a half finished outline for an article or book. When asked why they
are not moving forward with the project, they often do not have an answer. In this
workshop we will use the Cycle of Experience as a frame to learn about which parts of the
writing process we do well, and where we get stuck. We will also look at how to generate
support when we feel stuck in the writing process.
