Need A Tax Deduction?
In the event you are looking for a tax deduction, we encourage you to seriously consider making a
contribution to the KHS Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Fund is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit entity and
contributions are a legitimate tax deduction which also benefits members of the senior class who qualify.
Normally each year approximately one-third of the graduating class receive some financial assistance to
pursue advanced education. Contribution checks should be made payable to KHS Memorial Scholarship
Fund and mailed to, or dropped off to, Principal Tom Stoner, Kouts High School, P.O. Box 699, Kouts, IN
46347. In the event you wish your contribution credited to one of the fifty-plus named scholarships, make a
notation on the check's memo line. A complete list of all current named scholarships is available in the
office.
The Scholarship Committee thanks you for your consideration.

Second Graders “Like to Move It, Move It”!
Mrs. Merrell shares, “Sitting still for entire day is nearly
impossible for elementary students. That’s why my class
thinks brain breaks are so important! GoNoodle.com is a
website created for that exact reason. You can view
many different dances, exercises, and breathing
techniques to help get your wiggles out. When GoNoodle
offered a dance contest, my class was very excited! We
are even more excited to announce that after we
submitted our video, our class made it on to the first
ever kid-led brain break! Check out the video on
GoNoodle.com and see if you can spot some of our very
own Kouts Elementary students!” (Hint: They appear SIX
times!)
