Servants of Ste. Anne (SOSA) Update
Meeting after 12 noon Mass on the first Sunday every month, except January and August
SOSA are volunteers dedicated to helping preserve and sustain the historic ministry of Ste. Anne parish by organizing the annual
Ste. Anne Novena in July and the Healing Masses during the fall and winter, operating the gift shop, and periodically gathering in
prayer and fellowship.

host Posada celebrations at Ste. Anne's
from Dec. 16 through 23. There are still
openings. If your group or family
would like to host one please call Monsita. Hosting a Posada includes leading
the prayers and procession in the
chapel/church, and providing the meal,
piñatas and bags of goodies in the hall.

We all want our kids to be safe, right? It's not always easy in
this day and age, especially with technology. A couple weeks
ago, parents offered a number of helpful suggestions at our parent catechism meeting and I thought I'd share them with you. It
was the "Safe Environment: Circle of Grace" class that the
church offers to help our kids learn how to be safe and to know
they are encircled by God's love. At this yearly session we also
discuss areas of concern for parents. It's a great way to raise
awareness and learn from each other. Here are a few ideas from
your fellow parishioners:
Todos queremos que nuestros chamacos estén a salvos, si? No
es fácil en éstos días, especialmente con la tecnología. Hace
algunas semanas, algunos padres ofrecieron sugerencias útiles
durante nuestra reunión de padres con niños en el catecismo.
Era la clase de "Ambiente de Seguridad: Círculo de Gracia" que
la iglesia ofrece para enseñar a nuestros niños cómo estar sanos
y a salvo y que estén rodeados por el amor de Dios. En ésta
sesión anual, hablamos también de áreas de preocupación para

Cover up the webcam on your computers and your smart
TVs.

Trust your gut - if you feel like a situation is unsafe for
your child, check it out.
The most important thing is that your kids know they can come

to listen to them, to hear their concerns, and to answer their
questions.
As the season gets busy we can remind ourselves that the most
precious gift we have to offer others is our time and attention.
