provide assistance to our parish and community where ever

the Catholic churches in Arkansas count how many people
attend the weekend masses during the month of October. We
will print the results from each weekend in the bulletin and

The Knights of Columbus will have their monthly meeting
this month on Thursday, October 23rd beginning at
6:00pm.
Please be mindful that it is that time of the year
where theft is on a rise. Remember to lock your
vehicle doors, roll your windows all the way up and
do not leave anything visible in your vehicle. We do
not want anyone to become a victim.
CYM Camping Trip - The annual CYM camping trip will be
October 25-26 at Petit Jean Mountain. We will spend the day
hiking and exploring the park before heading back to camp
for a night of games around the campfire. Any 9-12th grade
student interested in attending should contact April or
Matthew Smith at 501-416-4756. Cost is $10.
Next Weekend Father Robert Hazel will be visiting
our parish to speak at all the Masses on behalf of Cross
Catholic Outreach which was founded to create a meaningful
link between parishes in America and the priest and nuns
working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa,
Asia, Central and South America.
Altar Society Nov 5th at 6:30pm in the Parish Center:
Patrick Gallaher will be our guest speaker. He is the
Executive Director of Catholic Charities. We will also have
our chili pot-luck, bring your best chili or a side dish/dessert
and join us. We will save you a seat!!!
Adult Sunday School. All adults (18 and older) are
welcome to our "Sunday School" for Adults. We meet every
Sunday, 9:40am to 10:40am, in the St. Theresa School
building, Classroom #1. We discuss the basics of the Catholic
faith. And so, whether you have been Catholic for many years
and want to learn more, or if you have never been a member
of any church or have been a member of another church and
now want to learn about the Catholic faith, this class is for
you. Father Mark Wood is leading the class. We have coffee
and donuts. So make plans to attend and invite your relatives,
friends, neighbors and co-workers. For more information

Faith Formation
For the safety of our children we are asking that all parents of
Faith Formation students not allow your children to walk
home after class. If your child is between PK/KN and 5th
graded do not ask them to meet you in the parking lot, inside
the church or anywhere else for that matter. You need to pick
up your child inside the school building. Students between
grades PK/KN through 4th will not be allowed to leave until a
parent picks them up from inside the building. We appreciate
your help in this matter; together we can keep our children
safe.

The Catholic Diocese of Little Rock is committed to
protecting children and young people. If you are aware of
abuse or have been abused by clerics, Church volunteers or Church
workers, please contact the Vicar General for the Diocese of Little

for Crimes against Children at 1-800-482-5964.
The Chaplaincy at the Arkansas Dept. of Correction
Hawkins Unit for Women in Wrightsville is in the process of
setting up mentor teams for women who are leaving prison. At least
one Catholic woman has asked for a group of Catholic mentors. No
personal information, such as address, is shared. No monetary
assistance is given to the inmate. A team of 4 to 6 women would
take turns visiting with the woman in prison during the six months
before her release and then help her with re-entry for about six
months once she is released. If you would like more information,

of reflection that is open to all Catholic adults in the area.

protect mothers and babies. 40 days for Life is
a peaceful, prayerful - and proven effective - pro
life campaign that features 3 components: Prayer
and Fasting; Peaceful Vigil (Stand for life during a 40-day
peaceful public witness in the public right-of-way outside
Little Rock Family Planning Clinic at #4 Office Park Drive);
Community Outreach (Bring a positive pro-life message to
every corner of our city through media efforts, advocacy and
public visibility). 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil will go
through Sunday November 2, 2014. Don’t you have

School will be closed on October 24th for
Parent/Teacher Conferences. The school mass will take place
on October 23 at 8:00 am.
There is a Baked Sale/Food Sale planned to benefit the

Misiones! Se nos invita a extender nuestras manos y ayudar a
construir la Iglesia en Mongolia, la iglesia católica más joven
del mundo, así como a iglesias locales en las zonas más

Hoja de Registro: Si usted es Nuevo en nuestra Parroquia, le
pedimos que por favor complete una hoja de registro. Estas formas
son amarillas y están en el vestíbulo en un archivo flotante en la
pared al lado de la entrada principal de la Iglesia. Usted también
puede usar estas formas si cambio su dirección.
Bodas: si está pensando casarse por la Iglesia, por favor llame a la
oficina para poder informarle de los requisitos. La preparación
toma por lo menos 6 meses; dependiendo de su situación, puede que
tome más tiempo.
Grupo de Jóvenes. El grupo de jóvenes va a continuar
reuniéndose los viernes a las 6:30 pm en el salón #4 del Centro

Mensaje del Padre Marcos: yo estaré de vacaciones del 21
de octubre al 4 de noviembre. El Padre Robert Hazel de
Cross Catholic Outreach (Programa de la Cruz Católica)
estará celebrando la Santa Misa el próximo fin de semana y el
siguiente fin de semana estará aquí el Padre Erik Pohlmeir en

Los Caballeros de Colon tendrán su reunión mensual el
jueves 23 de octubre a las 6:00 pm.

Venta de Garaje de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe: el
sábado 25 de octubre el Comité Organizador de la fiesta de
Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe tendrá una venta de garaje
comenzando a las 7am. Ellos estarán aceptando donaciones
de artículos el jueves 23 de octubre y el viernes 24 de octubre
de 6 pm a 9pm.
El Estudio del Catolicismo, también conocido como RCIA
(Rito de Iniciación Cristiana) continuará todos los domingos
en el salón #2 de la escuela a las 10:15am. Invite a sus
familiares y amigos (y venga usted también) que quieran
aprender acerca de la fe. Las primeras dos sesiones serán una
revisión de lo que aprenderemos durante el año. Todos los
que hayan atendido el programa en el pasado son invitados a

Paseo de Acampar del CYM – El paseo anual de acampar
del CYM será el 25 y 26 de octubre en la Montaña Petit Jean.
Pasaremos el día escalando y explorando el parque y en la
noche jugaremos alrededor de la fogata. Cualquier estudiante
del 9 al 12 grado que esté interesado en participar debe

Tenemos Biblias de letra grande en la oficina de la Iglesia.
El costo de estas Biblias es de $15 cada una. También

Escuela de Santa Teresa
La escuela estará cerrada el viernes 24 de octubre
para conferencias de padres y maestros. La misa de
la escuela tendrá lugar el jueves 23 de octubre.
Habrá una venta de postres/comida a beneficio de la escuela
el domingo 26 de octubre después de la misa de 11:00 am y
1:00 pm. Por favor apoye a nuestra escuela!
Formación de Fe
Por la seguridad de nuestros niños estamos pidiendo a todos los
padres de estudiantes de Fe y Formación que no permitan que
sus hijos caminen solos a casa. Si su hijo(a) está entre el grado
PK/KN y 5º grado no les pida que se vayan solos al
estacionamiento, a la iglesia o a ningún otro lugar. Usted debe
recoger a su hijo(a) dentro del edificio escolar. A estudiantes
entre grados PK/KN y 4º no se les permitirá salir del edifico
hasta que un padre los recoja dentro del edifico. Apreciamos su
ayuda con este asunto; juntos podemos mantener a nuestros
niños a salvo.
Respeto a la Vida – Salve una Vida
Salve una vida y conviértase en un guerrero de oración.
Únase al movimiento mundial para proteger a las madres y sus
bebes. 40 Días de Oración por la Vida comenzó el miércoles 24
de septiembre y terminara el 2 de noviembre y es una campaña
pro vida que utiliza un método pacifico, de oración y que ha
probado ser efectivo. Consta de tres partes: oración, ayuno y
vigilia. Estaremos afuera de la clínica de planificación familiar
en #4 Office Park Drive.
Bautismos
Los Bautismos serán cada segundo sábado del mes a las 10:30
am. Fechas de los próximos bautizos son el 8 de noviembre y
13 de diciembre. Próximas pláticas: a las 7:00 pm en el
Centro Parroquial el 7 de noviembre y 5 de diciembre.
No hay que inscribirse para asistir a las pláticas. Solo llegue
puntualmente.
Habrá cuidado de niños disponible, los que traigan
a sus niños deberán hacer una donación voluntaria
para las personas que brindan el servicio de cuidado
de niños. Las personas que cuidaran a los niños han
tenido el entrenamiento de VIRTUS.
