FROM THE PARISH RECORDS:
Tony and Kim Burns have transferred their membership to
St. Michael’s. Please welcome them to our church family.
Peggy Cox has moved her membership to Christ Church,
Greenville.
NEEDLEWORK MINISTRY: The January Meeting will be
held at Magnolia of Easley on Tuesday, January 6th, at 1:30.
Please join us! Let us know if you need a prayer shawl or a
wheelchair or walker bag. It gives us joy to be of service! If
you have any questions, call Anne Martin at 442-1662.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Beth Dudley will be leading
Session Two of her bible study series called His Healing
Hands - Finding God in Broken Places. Session Two will start
Wednesday January 7th at 9:30am and last for 6 weeks. We
have five books available and the cost is 8.00. If you were
unable to participate is Session One, you can still join in! See
Shannon in the church office or Beth for a book.
MEN’S MEETING FOR JANUARY: The men of the church
will have a new year’s feast with pork chops, black eyed
peas, collard greens and cornbread on Thursday, January 8th
at 7:00pm. Please sign up on the parish hall bulletin board so
we know how much food to purchase. You are welcome to
bring your own adult beverage and the cost of the meal will
be split.
ECW PAINT AND SIP: Ladies, join us on Saturday, January
24th at 10am for a paint and sip party. Our very own Hillary
Greer will be leading our step by step painting party. She will
provide the canvas, acrylic paints, and brushes. If you can
hold a brush, you can do this. Cost is 15.00 per
person. Ages 5th grade through 100 are welcome. Sign up
on the parish hall bulletin board.
EPIPHANY CELEBRATION: Mark your calendar for our
Epiphany Celebration on Tuesday, January 6 at 6:30pm. More
details coming soon.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: St. Michael’s annual
congregational meeting will be between services on Sunday
January 11, 2015. We encourage everyone to attend.
