The Elinor Lake Resort Condiminium Corporation, (ELRCC),
is a recreational bare land condominium community situated
on the south east shore of Elinor Lake in Lac La Biche County.
The Corporation consists of 168 recreational lots and common
property operating under the Condominium Act of Alberta.
The board of directors is seeking a
Part Time Administration Assistant
to handle the day to day business of the corporation
under the direction of the board.
Duties would include, but not limited to:
• Keeping the accounts of the Corporation including banking, invoicing
and accounts payable using Sage 50 Accounting software.
• Record keeping
• Incoming and outgoing communications, including electronic,
and mail pickup.
• Attend Board meetings to take meeting minutes and produce
finished copies.
• Assist to draft agendas and prepare materials for Board meetings.
It is expected these duties will require 20 to 30 hours per month. As this
is a new position, it is expected the scope of the position may need to
be revisited from time to time. Board meetings are currently held about
every month, on site, at a private residence. As the board positions are
voluntary, Board meetings are held on weekends. Other meetings may
occur on occasion within the County.

Looking for an exciting and challenging
seasonal position?
Alberta’s Forestry and Emergency Response Division
is looking to fill valuable support roles for the
upcoming wildfire season.
Airtanker Base Supervisor: is responsible for safe and efficient
operation of the Air Tanker Base including fuelling, dispatching
and loading of the Province’s airtanker fleet. Other duties include
inventories of fuel, retardant and water, and the supervision of loader
personnel. Aptitude with pump systems, chemical handling and safety
around aircraft is essential.
Airtanker Base Loaderman: is responsible for the safe and
efficient loading of airtanker aircraft. Other duties include maintaining
inventory levels, base and ground maintenance and safety. Aptitude
with pump systems, chemical handling and safety around aircraft is
essential.
Man-Up Supervisor: is responsible to supervise Wildfire Crews on
project work and wildfire suppression.
Wildfire Crew Coordinator: works closely with fire crew contractors
to assemble and perform administration and field audits for wildfire
crews.
Logistics: is responsible to coordinate manpower, fireline/heavy/
light equipment, specialized equipment, ground transport, fuel,
communications, accommodations, meals and commissary.
Camp Manager: is responsible for the operations and maintenance
of fire bases in the area. The camp manager will ensure the catering
and janitorial contracts for camp are being followed, the premises are
respected and kept clean and fuel stocking levels are maintained.
Detection Aide: is responsible to ensure that Lookout Observers
receive their scheduled servicing of groceries, water and warehouse
supplies. In addition, the Detection Aide may need to fill in the role as
a Lookout Observer as required.
Wildfire Dispatcher: provides efficient and safe radio communications
including transmitting, receiving, relaying and recording messages
and communications between aircraft and manpower during wildfire
operations.
Warehouse Support Staff: is responsible to receive, store and
issue equipment and supplies to area staff. Additionally, warehouse
staff is responsible for restocking and building equipment kits, and may
be assigned to assist with equipment on a wildland fire incident.
Administration Support Staff: is responsible to ensure office
and support systems run smoothly. Timely and accurate data entry,
professional reception and customer interface, photocopying, filing
and other support duties as may be required to support field staff and
management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team
environment is an asset. Qualified candidates must be physically able
to perform duties associated with specific positions. Familiarity with
Microsoft is required for certain positions. There is potential for shift
work, long hours, overtime and the potential for export to other work
locations or camps, depending on the fire conditions.
