Context: Under the overall supervision of the Operations Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Grants Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the content and processes of grants consistently meet project objectives and IOM standards. Core Functions / Responsibilities: 1. Update the Grant Matrix, and provide weekly updates of the Grant Matrix and key reporting to the Grants Manager. Page 1 / 3 2. Check the overall quality of grants documentation, in English, and the timely entry of all relevant grant information. 3. Maintain systems of communication and data transfer with program counterparts in field offices, recommend enhancements to the Grants Manager, and apply appropriate, program-wide standards of grant integrity, data collection and management, and information flow. 4. Track the program's grant process including but not limited to financial and procurement aspects to ensure appropriate standards of accounting and controls are met, and programmatic aspects under the guidance of the Grants Manager to ensure that grant activities reflect the overall intention and objectives of the program. 5. Produce reports and run queries on the database as requested by the Grants Manager; propose revisions to reporting templates and refinements to existing mechanisms as required. 6. Working in close coordination with the administrative and finance teams regularly reconcile financial tracking of the Grants Database with IOM financial systems. 7. Together with the RRF Grants Manager ensure that partners fully understand all administrative requirements of the RRF Grants process, undertaking capacity building with those partners that may require it. 8. Perform such other duties as may be assigned. Required Qualifications and Experience Education Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience. Experience Experience in community-based and/or small-grants programming, infrastructure works, procurement and civil-society strengthening; Experience working with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) programmes preferably with the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA); Previous experience in operational activities in a post-crisis or emergency area. Languages Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
