Q K-1SM......Kayak………..1- Male over 40yrs, Master Class, max length 13’2” R K-1SW…...Kayak………..1-Female over 40yrs, Master Class Max length 13’2” MEDALS 1 - 10 Entries 1st, 2nd, & 3rd ........................ 11 - 25 Entries...1st - 4th 26 & over Entries 1st - 5th *** IMPORTANT RULES *** 1) Every contestant MUST wear a COAST GUARD APPROVED LIFE PRESERVER at ALL times in every race. 2) NO alcoholic beverages or glass containers will be allowed in the canoes. 3) All boat classifications are at the discretion of the Race Committee. 4) A participant is eligible to win only one award per Class. 5) Competition Cruising: all boats designed for flat-water or white-water racing, NO pro-boats allowed, max length 18'6", width at 4" water line at least 0.14375 X length, two persons per boat. 6) All boats must have ample flotation to prevent the boat from sinking if capsized (Styrofoam, air chambers, etc). NO double-blade paddles allowed in any canoe race class.
