Welcome
Dear Friends,
The Auxiliary at Geisinger Wyoming Valley proudly welcomes you to the
15th annual Geisinger Gala. On behalf of the entire Auxiliary, we are
delighted that you are with us to share in this special evening.
For the sixth consecutive year, we are honored to dedicate this
evening’s proceeds to help fund Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical
Center’s Tambur Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which opened in
2011. Tonight’s proceeds will bring us even closer to raising $1 million
for Luzerne County’s first and only NICU.
We thank everyone whose support has contributed to this event’s
success. A very special appreciation goes to the members of the Gala
committee, who generously devoted their time and talents over the
past year.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate Geisinger’s commitment to the
children and families of our area. Enjoy the evening!
Sincerely,
Mary Casale

A Message from
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Leaders
This evening is the result of the dedication of our incredible Auxiliary at
Geisinger Wyoming Valley and the generosity of many caring members
of our community. Thanks to your support and altruism over the past six
years, this event has helped to raise nearly $1 million to directly provide
care and nurturing to our community through the county’s first and
only neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Let tonight remind us that our
organization’s continued success depends upon the generous support of
caring individuals like you this evening.
On behalf of the entire Geisinger Family and the families we serve in
the community, we’d like to thank the Auxiliary at Geisinger Wyoming
Valley and everyone in attendance for their contributions to the Tambur
NICU. Since 2011, fragile newborns have been receiving highly advanced
medical care close to home with their families, where they belong.
Tonight’s Gala, like the 14 before it, will benefit and improve patient
care right here in northeastern Pennsylvania. And as Geisinger’s 100th
anniversary draws near and we approach our Centennial Campaign goal
of raising $150 million for patient care, education and research, we again
must thank you for your ongoing support.
Enjoy the evening!
