CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Please bring a towel and water bottle to all classes.
Aqua Fitness—
Fitness—Get a complete workout as you have fun in the sun! This class is held off-site at the Howard
Johnson Express Inn pool at 2726 North Monroe Street.
Body Sculpt—
Sculpt—Toning through stretching, balance, and weights to condition and strengthen the upper and lower
body.
Boot CampCamp-Alternating stations and sets of moderate to intense aerobic and muscle resistance exercises to give
you an overall full body workout!
Cardio Extreme-This
is a high-intensity class designed to work your entire body and includes step, cardio kickExtreme
boxing, body toning and abdominal work. This workout will leave you energized for the rest of the day, so prepare yourself for a CARDIO EXTREME workout with lots of fun!
Gentle Yoga—
Yoga—Designed for those of you who are just beginning need a little less intensity. This class will ease
your mind and take your body through a routine focused on strength, flexibility, and relaxation.
Hot Hula—
Hula—Aerobic exercise to Polynesian music that builds from the core. A very grounded aerobic workout
without steps, jumps, etc. Come join us to move to those island beats that uses Hawaiian, Tahitian and Reggae
music to make us move and grove.
Kick Box –This class definitely packs a punch! Come in and kick, jab and punch your way through a great cardio workout!
You never know, after one class you might be hooked!
Movin’ & Groovin - 50 minute Energetic Hi-Lo aerobic dance moves, ending with 30 minutes of core work and
stretching in Body Sculpt class.
Pilates – Join us and try out one of the most popular workouts in fitness today. You’ll strengthen your abdominals, lower
back, glutes, inner and outer thighs. You’ll also improve balance and flexibility.
Power Hour—
Hour—If you’ve tried it all and you love it all, this is the class for you. The instructor will surprise you with a class
format that could combine step, kickboxing, circuit or weight training. So be prepared for anything because anything goes
and you never know what’s coming next.
Classic – Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles
and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
is an indoor stationary cycling class that combines basic cycling movements with motivational coaching,

breathing awareness, and heart rate training. This non-impact, individually paced cardio class will definitely move you! This
45-minute class is designed for all fitness levels or those of you with little time. It is necessary to bring a water bottle and
towel to class.
Total Burn—A
Burn
high-energy class that combines strength training with high intensity cardio to tone and sculpt. Be sure to
bring water and come preprared to sweat!
Total Tone – Tone and shape your entire body in a challenging, fun atmosphere with great music!
Yoga – Using this age-old practice, improve strength, flexibility and balance. All fitness levels are welcomed.
Y-Fit—
Fit—Join us for muscular Strength and Endurance Training! Use the dumbbells, theraballs and therabands to become
stronger, build more muscle and have a great time. Come prepared to work!
-Zumba’s easy dance routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training that tone and sculpt the body
and maximize caloric output. FUN!! Open to everyone!
