PTA SPRING YARD SALE & MARKET We are in the planning stages for our annual event Saturday May 10th 9 am. to 1 pm. so please start gathering up new and gently used items (toys, electronics, furniture, pictures, dishes, crockery, plants, jewellery, handmade craft items, handmade wooden products, knitted items, art work, etc.) and set up a table at our event. This event is a great chance to sell a bargain, find a bargain, have fun, recycle, re-use, upgrade, learn, socialize, be a craftsperson/artisan, and help our school to help our students. We will be renting tables out to students for a $3 fee. This is a great opportunity for students to set up, display and sell their items, and earn some money for themselves while trying out their marketing, business and entrepreneurial skills. The students who participated last year raised some money for themselves and had lots of fun. The PTA will also be hosting and running the following tables: great new and used sports equipment, delicious baked goods, silent auction, and beautiful basket raffles. The proceeds from the PTA table sales will go back to the PTA to support events and enhance our school and community. The PTA would greatly appreciate any donations for their Sports Table, Bake Table, Silent Auction, and Basket Raffles. . For our Silent Auction we ask for your support by donating any new items you may have at home that you no longer need-big or small. If anyone has an employer who would be willing to donate a gift card, tickets to an event or corporate swag that would be wonderful. Anyone wanting to promote their company this is a good chance to put a gift on the table. Items can be dropped off at St.Agnes or if it is a big item then please call Rose Fraser at 477-7392. Thank you for all your support and we hope this Silent Auction will be a big success. Page 2 of 2 School Newsletter Sports Reports St. Agnes Junior High 6981 Mumford Rd.
