Intro & Fundamentals Classes
Fundamentals:
Anyone new to Kettlebells or Pilates must complete Fundamentals
classes. Please stop by the Front Desk to put your name on the interest
list for the next offering for these classes.
CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS:
Cardio Challenge – Increase your strength, stamina, cardiovascular
endurance, and agility in this class. Class uses a variety of equipment
(step, jump rope, tubing, weights, stability ball, kettlebells) and features
a full-body workout combining cardio intervals with muscular
endurance training.
Cardio Dance – Enjoy a fun cardiovascular workout while moving to
the rhythm of great music! Class features a variety of dancing styles.
Open to all levels.
Cardio Fitness – This all-level class is for everyone from the beginner
to the highly experienced exerciser. The emphasis is on providing a fun
and effective workout for all fitness levels. This 30 minute class
combines traditional high and low impact exercise, with athletic
movements to achieve the ultimate high-energy, fat burning workout.
Fit Forever – Complete fitness class with cardiovascular and muscle
conditioning for individuals new to fitness and older adults. Good for
participants with exercise limitations.
Kickboxing – Challenge your cardiovascular and muscular systems by
combining high-power kicks and punches with core stability!
Low Impact – Learn the basics of muscular & cardiovascular
conditioning as you begin to improve your general fitness.
Zumba Light – An energetic mix of Latin rhythms and moves
designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness. Open to all levels.
CYCLE:
Beginner Cycle – Class designed for beginner riders. Cycle
participants must obtain a cycle pass at the Member Services desk 15
minutes prior to class.
Cycle – Class to challenge your cardiovascular and muscular
endurance. Each class is full of energy-powered intervals, hill climbs,
sprints and drills to build endurance, strength, and speed. Cycle
participants must obtain a cycle pass at the Member Services desk 15
minutes prior to class.
MUSCULAR CONDITIONING:
Barre None – A ballet inspired workout designed to challenge your
core stability and balance. This class launches a total body workout
that tones your abs, hips, and seat.
Barre / Pilates Fusion – This 60-minute class gives you the best of
both worlds with a fusion of Barre technique exercises and traditional
Pilates exercises! This class integrates props like weights, small balls,
magic circles, foam rollers, and bands.
Beatz - Enjoy 20 minutes of drumming to the beats of music while
challenge your core, legs, and upper body. Using lightly weighted
drumsticks, experience continual movement designed to improve your
coordination and balance. Great workout for all levels!
Boot Camp – (6-wk class) 40-minute indoor boot camp is a fun way to
get fit by incorporating body weight exercises, calisthenics, and interval
training. Be challenged in a group atmosphere with a variety of
workouts. Each session will be a progression of the previous week.

Fit Forever Sculpt – Movement & muscular conditioning class;
participants may choose to sit in a chair and/or stand. Perfect for those
with limitations in mobility and/or balance. (35 min)
Kettlebell Level 1 – Use kettlebells work the entire body emphasizing
the hips, hamstrings and core musculature. Pre-requisite: KB
Fundamentals
Kettlebell Level 2 – Take your training to the next level of strength and
conditioning. Pre-requisite: KB Fundamentals
Outdoor Boot Camp – (6-wk class) 40-minute outdoor boot camp
for the intermediate level exerciser. Workouts will target the entire
body to increase strength, endurance, agility and balance.
***Additional fee and registration required.
Pure Strength – Strength training class with body bars, hand
weights, & other resistance equipment. Designed to increase
overall strength & muscle tone.
Sculpt – Total body conditioning class using dumbbells, body bars,
balls, tubing, & dynabands. A must for all levels!
Strength-n-U – A total-body strength-training group fitness class
designed by HD staff for participants of all skill levels and ages.
Strength Circuit – This total body workout is designed to increase
your muscular strength by targeting all your major muscle groups.
This class utilizes equipment including weights, resistance bands,
body bars, and more! A must for all levels!
TRX Suspension Training:
With TRX Suspension Training, participants harness their own body
weight to create resistance as they train to build core and overall
strength.
TRX Pre-requisites: a strong awareness of your body in space, a
strong spine, and healthy joints. TRX participants must obtain a
pass at the Member Services desk 15 minutes prior to class.
TRX Body Blast – This 30-minute full-body TRX workout is
designed to build overall strength, balance, and flexibility. Open to
all levels; prior completion of TRX Intro is strongly recommended.
TRX Challenge – This 45-minute class combines TRX exercises
with cardio intervals for a fun and intense full-body workout. Prior
completion of TRX Intro and proficiency with TRX are strongly
recommended.
TRX Fundamentals - New to TRX? Let us show you the basics in
this 30-minute intro session. Participants will learn how to set up
and use the TRX, as well as how to adjust resistance and stability to
progress exercises. Participants will also learn how to properly
execute a basic set of foundational exercises. New participants are
strongly encouraged to attend this class before progressing to a
Body Blast class.
TRX / Kettlebell Fusion – This 50-minute ultimate class combines
the best of TRX and Kettlebells for an overall powerful workout.
Class begins with TRX intervals followed by Kettlebells conditioning.
Pre-requisite: KB Fundamentals
YOGA/PILATES:
Energized Yoga – Join in on this more active style of yoga to get
your blood moving. This class is designed to energize and center
you. Class includes warm-up, energized poses, and stretching.
Therapeutic Yoga – Uses tools from Hatha yoga to improve
general health & address specific areas of challenge, limitation
& enjoyment. Class focuses on the specific benefits of various
postures, movement sequences, breath techniques, &
meditation.
Yoga - Engage your body, mind, and spirit through the practice of
Yoga. Participants will engage in dynamic, energetic, and calming
movements to encourage the development of strength, body
awareness, stamina, balance and mindfulness. All experience
levels are welcome.
Pilates Fundamentals – (4-wk class) Offered to those who
have never taken Pilates. Learn the basics of Pilates and
breath control. Minimum 4 participants.
