Job Title: Department: Reports to: FLSA Status: Human Resources Coordinator Human Resources Department Chief Human Resources Officer Non-Exempt SUMMARY: The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will provide HR administrative assistance to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Manager of Training and Organizational Development, and the Talent Management Specialist within the HR Department. The HR Coordinator will also provide HR assistance to the Health Center staff in the form of answering policies and benefit questions. The HR Coordinator will protect the confidentiality of employee file information and confidential data of the Health Center. The HR Coordinator will work with administrative staff and department managers/supervisors to ensure that their requests and needs are met in a timely manner. The Human Resources Coordinator contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Coordinator helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs through HR staff; reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, and assists the Health Center’s managers with HR issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) Performance management and improvement tracking systems Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and record-keeping Develop employee communication’s new letter Evaluate ongoing HR administrative processes and recommend/implement changes where necessary or desired to increase efficiency. Provides a variety of administrative recruitment support such as: sourcing and scheduling candidates for interviews, reference checking, performing CORI checks, and recruitment system maintenance changes. Prepares, sends and tracks offer letters and all other candidate correspondence. Assist in recruiting/screening/hiring/onboarding of various non-exempt positions e.g- Medical Assistants, Facilities, Medical Administrative, et. al Assist in auditing new employee hire packet to ensure all necessary documentation is included Scheduling 30 day/90 day new hire interviews Managing and updating Retention/Interview Tracker Assist or Manage Scheduling of trainings Develop and Maintain training evaluation database – be able to provide aggregate data Assist with maintaining individual training records Assist with the Coordination of internal/external Trainers Assist with the preparation of training materials Assists with logistics for events, training, and meetings, including room reservations, and materials. Serves as a resource to employees. Interprets benefit options and personnel policies for new and existing employees while maintaining personnel files. Provide backup for payroll in emergency absence for payroll person. Provide "back-up" administrative services to HR Benefit Assistant. Maintain HR’s intranet. Maintain information within HR’S Docushare information system. Lead the HR department’s Wellness Program. 1 QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be proactive, possess visible organizational skills. In addition be able to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The candidate must possess personal computer skills, personnel administration and attention to detail. Additionally the candidate should have strong critical and analytical skills; highly proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel; Ability to adapt to a changing and fast paced environment and Strong writing skills. EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field. Demonstrated commitment to the Human Resources field is essential.
